My wife is holding a L2 visa. Her I94 is expiring in a months time. She is currently working without an EAD as per the new rule. Her I-539 is applied 3 weeks back and expecting the acknowledgment receipt in a weeks time. I would like to know if she can continue to work during the extension process? I

Hi, I am on L2 visa, I have applied for SSN on march 22 they took my marriage certificate and passport they asked me to wait for 4 weeks to get SSN until then my documents are under validation, 4 weeks passed away but I didn’t get my EAD , when I called to SSN office they said your i94 is pending, what should I do now,??? Do I need to cross the borders and renter it???? Please reply me , thanks in advance

Thanks for sharing the details. My wife has L2 Visa and have applied for EAD (FIRST TIME) in July 2021. We have the reciept of application and still waiting for EAD card. Does that mean she can start working now? Will apprieciate your reply
