The lowdown:
This DOES have an m2 slot so you can install an M2 SSD. It DOES NOT have a screw to support the upgraded SSD. Get that separately.
It DOES support either SATA or NVMe SSDs.
You cannot upgrade the RAM. It is soldered.
Windows 11 comes in S mode. You can disable easily. support.microsoft.com/en-us/w...
The type C port does not support charging of the laptop.
Unlike the maestro it does support 5GHz Wi-Fi
Unlike (some versions of) the maestro it does not have a cellular modem.

@@drizzysmoke5116 I use it daily for general email and web surfing and some youtube watching. Battery life is fantastic and it has enough power for the basics for at least a few years to come. At $99 it was a great deal. I would have to re-evaluate at $249 if it is the best in group.

Got this at Best Buy for $100 Labor Day sale arrives Monday. The Maestro is going for $100 now on Amazon and I’m torn to keep this or return it and get the Maestro for the smaller form factor. Even though this has a 14” screen it’s at the same resolution as the Maestro. Whichever one I keep I’m going to be running Linux on it for Ham.

Cheap is great, but as you noted Ria, this PC isn't natively 12v . My biggest source of noise when I'm at Field Day (other than QRM from my teammates, hihi), is the inverter I need when taking my solar/battery powered station up to 120v just to cut it back down to 19v with a wall wart to keep the laptop charged.
