Take the sag out of those lines and it will probably flow even better. Nice setup!

Lol... I'm dumping sap as it is due to lack of storage. Process improvement for next year! 👍

I may try vacuum this year. Inside the pump box you have green connectors before the manifold. Can I ask the purpose of those green inline fittings? That is a very nice and clean setup you have in your pump box BTW!!

Those are 5/16 to 3/16 fittings as the manifolds are 5/16" bascommaple.com/products/iprch?variant=28709763416143 - 6 WAY MANIFOLD - bascommaple.com/products/mtp6?_pos=2&_sid=4b1c7cdf5&_ss=r

Do you have any plans available for this set up?

Can you provide a list of the parts you used to get the 3/16" tubing connected to the pump? I'd like to get something similar connected, but with only a few lines. Thanks!
So one thing I have noticed is after about two minutes. If my pump is not sucking a lot of sap, it kind of goes to sleep. I put my line into a bucket of sap and turn the pump on and it’s blowing bubbles and push in SAP and bubble, pushing Sap so on so forth and then after a minute or so. No sap no bubbles nothings coming out of the lines again, if I unplug one of the vacuum lines let the vacuum escape and plug it back in, it starts to blow bubbles and pushed sap again.

Is your inline filter clean and tightly screwed on?🤷♂

@@49maplehollow Yeah, everything seems to be tight there appears to be no vacuum leaks but after about a minute minute and a half the pump you can still hear it running, but nothings happening with it but if you unplug one of the lines, you can hear the vacuum releasing and then the pump starts pumping again. I never appear to lose vacuum.

Thanks for a great video. What size lines are you running? Because first I was told to run 3/16 main lines with 5/16 tap lines. I have about 18 trees All taps went into one 3/16 mainline, and I was told to change them and run5/16 main lines and 5/16 tap lines. And only have five or six taps in each line so I ran three lines. Still not getting a lot of production. Any suggestions I do have about 15 psi also. I’m just getting frustrated and ready to go back to buckets. Thanks

I'm running all 3/16". My land is sloped with a nominal 30' rise from where my main tank is to the top of the runs. Some of my lines have a little over 20 taps ea. Here's a nice article on the subject. mapleresearch.org/pub/m1017asktubingsize/

you've got leaks and your lines have sags if you're only getting 15hg. I was getting 23-25 last year with same number of taps and a small diaphragm pump.
