FINALLY BRO someone thought the outsider was as good as I did that book hooks so so well and I wanna see more stories set up like that that don’t have a giant creature monster it has an unknown fear and the fear of the unknown is immense in this book. Top notch for him

Thank you for this insightful personal ranking! I just recently read my my first SK book (at 36 years old!); The Stand [uncut] and now I'm hooked. Using these tier rankings/comments and online written reviews to map out my future journey. It's so exciting to have King's whole catalogue before me to choose from; can't believe I've never read him before now as I love the horror genre...was just playing hard to get I suppose lol. Half way through Four Past Midnight just because it was close by but I'm planning on taking down another full stand-alone novel next and then I'm really looking forward to entering the world(s?) of the Dark Tower! You seem like you have an obvious love for his books and an encyclopedic knowledge of them; I can't wait till I can look back at the Steven King Universe from your vantage point!

I also loved wind through the keyhole. I really liked the story of the kid going to find the tiger. There was just something charming about it. And of course gave us more background to Roland.

Great video. Watching some of these videos I can see how varied these can be. I didn't care for 11/22/63 as much as everyone else. Unpopular opinion I know! Again, great list great job.

I agree with Duma Key. That book is SO emotional. So as Insomnia. Those 2 books broke my heart, specially towards the end.

Same here as for being a Stephen King constant reader. I have been wanting to read all of the books in order, but sometimes I find myself re-reading The Shining: because I find it to be one of my most personal favorites and personal story of mine, because of my own fears of alcoholism and becoming an alcoholic myself. But I did have the idea to read his books in order, but never got around to doing it, but I’ve read them out of order (mostly my choice of books that sounded interesting), not in order mind you, but still they were interesting. I’ve just finished reading Gerald’s Game…To be honest that book was good, but just not as good that I would’ve hoped it would be. But it was still good nonetheless.

Insomnia was horrible in my opinion. If that was the King novel I started with I never would have continued. Good list though, thanks for sharing.

Just wondered where you would have put Gerard’s game.?

I was mostly with you until "Bag of Bones". Man, that's one of my Favorites! It's up there with "Duma Key" for me - hits me in the feels. Maybe it's because I'm a woman? There is definitely a love story factor to it...

- I agree with your high position for all three Hodges books and Revival. - I don't care much for the Dark Tower, for the moment. - I'd put 11/22/63 on the top tier. - I regret your ranking of Billy Summers because I'm about to read it. - I'd position If It Bleeds on the A tier. - My most unpopular opinion: I really liked Elevation.

Hey man . I am starting king by from a Buick 8 . Is it good?

I think so. Hope you enjoyed it. My first King book was Insomnia. Just wait until you get into his best works, now they're great.
@chrismartin5002 жыл бұрын
Probably not the best King book to start with but it's not horrible. If you liked it you will love most of his other works. Welcome to becoming a constant reader!!

@@chrismartin500 I dnfed it mid way actually . But I still tried it and loved it. And now I have read desperation shining and it and already ordered misery . King is great 😊😊 but his some books are meh though.

Well, I could think of other books that you might Start with, but it's not bad. I started with "Pet Sematary" when I was 9, and instantly became a "constant reader".😉👑🖤

You need to change your taste if you struggle to finish the shinning and salem's lot. I can't believe anyone can hate salem's lot or shinning😢

@@anuparnoacharya5779 dont hate it. Just bored me and then got decent in the last 100 pages(Salem’s Lot). It was the slowest paced King book I read

I was with you until u put dreamcatcher above desperation!!!! There was another one u put above desperation too that I absolutely did not agree with! Decent list I know it’s subjective but seems like ur easily pleased by any of kings work which he is AMAZINGLY GREAT…but seems u just refuse to say ANYTHING BAD AT ALL about any of the books!
