My build also works really well: Granbull with Intimidate and item Shellbell. Have the Moveset taunt, Mudslap, bulk up and Playrough. EV focus on attack and defence. Start with Taunt and then mudslap until sceptile take aways stat change on your side. Then Tera into fairy, and use bulk up 3x. Now all you have to do is use Play rough. Shellbell will keep you alive. Fun and different build :)

Annihilape has become one of my favourite paldea mons. I tried using the sap sipper Azumaril method but the problem was the dragon dance and using thunder punch after. I was told having it use mud slap a few times will lower its accuracy. Plus it can quickly get you to tera. But, it becomes luck based for thunder punch (and the same with play rough itself) then you lose that once it reset its stats. But using this, is heavily good. I wasn’t even tera and nearly broke its shield while using the shell bell. It’s did take lots of tries overall but this was the best strat and it worked well!!! Plus it’s good to have dundunspance helping you as at the beginning and when the shield breaks, it can use glare. Or Gardivoir using life dew. That’s enough of me now. Annihilape rules!!!!!!!

Just got mine with Magearna Soul-Heart ability Max SP Atk, HP Shell Bell Draining kiss Dazzling gleam Iron Defense Went for iron defence until full and smashed dazzling gleam and draining kiss until win. Was going to change it's tera type to fairy too but didn't have enough shard, so gave it a go with Iron tera and managed to get the win. Would have been a lot quicker with fairy tera though. Going to change that before I start farming for the herb. I didn't get round to bottle capping either ... Might have been lucky...

This worked pretty well, I was looking for an excuse to use magearna. I put metal sound for 4th move and covert cloak for item, as t-punch para was too annoying. I had 1 intimidate npc and no crits, so that's pretty lucky so ymmv.

Metronome as the item is better. Once you Tera you spam draining kiss, with metronome once you do 5 in a row you get a 50% damage bonus. Shell bell is useless seeing you use draining kiss for recovery

Max SpAtk/Def Unaware Clefable with Metronome, running Draining Kiss, Calm Mind, Protect, and Reflect is so much safer and easier, tbh. No chance to get KOed if you do it right. I'll post my full build for details Unaware / Modest / Tera Fairy / Metronome / 252 SpAtk 252 Def 4HP -Draining Kiss -Calm Mind -Protect -Reflect Turn 1: Reflect Turn 2-4: Draining Kiss 3 times to get Tera Turn 5: Tera and either Protect if it Nullified stat changes and abilities, or Kiss again. Turn 6: If it Nullified Turn 5, hit the gritty (Calm Mind), but if it Nullified, Protect. Turn 7+: Go either Calm Mind or Draining Kiss, depending on your HP. You can survive a Leafblade crit from half HP, so if you're close to half it's better to Drain and then Calm Mind the turn after (It's safer to only Calm Mind from full HP after a Darining Kiss). Do that until you're at 3Calm Minds and then just spam Draining Kiss until it dies.(If you have a turbo controller like me, that means you can enable A Turbo at this point and the raid will finish itself, lol.)

I used Annihilape one time and was like: okay, that was an epic fail. Your strategy legitimately worked. I can go to sleep peacefully.

I went in with an Adamant Nature Annihilape, and it's best to get a Gardevior on your side as well for Life Dew. I also had Annihilape hold Leftovers over Shell Bell as I got HP even for Stat moves. That almost mirrors my build, Screech instead of Focus Emergy, and I used Taunt followed by 3x Screech with 1 Bulk Up before a Defiant backed Rage Fist does some good damage before shield and keeps going. It was about a quarter before shield went up. Yes, I fell twice, but I already did enough damage before to be able to spend the time penalty reviving. I also didn't need Tera (Sceptile 2HKO'd that option)

It’s not necessarily fast but I soloed with tera fairy Sap Sipper Hisuian Goodra. Max defense from Shelter lets it tank Thunder Punch.

Have consistently solo'd with this build. Start Taunt, then Focus Energy, then try to go for double rage fist without activating their shield, taunt again and then bulk up x3. Rage fist to the W. Obviously RNG can be against you and if the Leaf Blade crits go off just run and try again. If you cant get the second taunt its not the end of the world since you Bulk up x3 anyway, and good intimidate partners help with that too.

Solo mine with same EV/IV build and Shell Bell, but setup with getting 3 Screeches in, Drain Punch for getting HP back and charging Tera. At this point Sceptile has raised the shield, but shouldn’t reset his negative stats yet. Usually you’ll get some Atk boosts from getting hit by Breaking Swipes and the Defiant ability. Activate Tera and Ghost Tera Rage Fist will one shot the rest of Sceptile HP bar.

Did it with a Adamant nature with EV invested in HP and Attack. What I did was Taunt first Screech x3 Drain Punch once Taunt again (you want to try and avoid procing shield before this so you can prevent it) Drain Punch till Tera Rage Fist spam It got dicey at the end because it somehow got off 3 Dragon Dances without me realizing, but I was barely able to pull through with Rage Fist spam at the end. Maybe consider using a Impish Mint to up your Defense a little? This was also done without any Intimidaters in the party. So having one or two might make things go easier

I recommend another taunt either after the shield goes up or after septile steals your Tera orb energy. It makes it easier while you bulk up because it’s moved aren’t boosted either.

Corvinknight is a great support pokemon. Make sure the ability mirror armor is on. Reflect, iron defense, screech, and any attack move is worth a go

I've had success with Corviknight. Mirror armor lowers attack when breaking swipe hits. Iron Defense softens physical blows, and body press does decent damage. Just gotta watch out for paralysis hax from thunder punch and the critical hits from leaf blade, but it works.

I had such a good RNG my 4th try. I had Arcanine and Tauros as ai intimidate, and bellibolt for paralyze. Smoothe as butter. Pretty much did the whole thing without needing to tera.

I actually don't have a level 100 annihilape but will try with a zapdos-galar it learns the same setup moves with the same ability and at least resists the lead blades. I'll use thunderous kick instead. Edit: worked like a charm and that's without any HP investment, just max defense

It’s not working for me, the Sceptile gets the first move out before I can use taunt as soon as it starts, sometimes gets two moves in the beginning before my taunt is even activated, but my main problem is that once the taunt is activated and it was confirmed that he had fell for it, the Sceptile is still able to use multiple moves including the Dragon Dance. Can anyone elaborate on why this is? Because it’s actually pissing me off.

Sadly, I tried and tried but this didn't work for me. So I went with Calyrex Ice Rider, max Atk, max Ps, Shell bell, Glacial Lance (max PP), Iron Defense, Sword Dance and Taunt. Sceptile can literally nothing against it, and after a couple of Iron Defense and Sword Dance there's no more fight

Raids and these events are still so infuriating because they’re so inconsistent. These guides are great and some events I can catch the mon in a single try within 5 mins. But I could never farm these events. I never have the smooth run I see in the videos. Feels like I’ve done something wrong even when I follow along exactly. Not sure if others experience the huge chunk of timer randomly disappearing or abilities not triggering or inexplicable damage and KOs from non crits but I really just want to be able to enjoy the feature as intended.
