Update to 2019 Toyota Prius Prime plug in hybrid 240VAC charge

This video is a follow up to my first video about how to create this cord and why. Please watch the first on before this one so it all makes sense. it is readily available at any hardware store, I got mine at home depot

@@waltersavonian7551 are you using 12 gauge for each of the separate cords?

@@2927usmc no I am not. I've measured the current in each cord at 11.5 amps and the #14 wire cord is more than adequate for this current. Toyota specifies in the owners manual not to plug the portable charging cord into an extension cord because they cannot guarantee the quality of the cord chosen by every customer. As long as you are using a proper #14 AWG cord no longer than 15 feet you should have no issues.
