You should push your needle in from the back and pull it out from the front and the will keep paint from getting in where the trigger is and the seal there will never scrape paint from the needle when you pull the needle out from the front.

Very good explenation on this video. Bought myself the same airbrush a few month ago. Some people use a some minor lubrication on the needle after cleaning it so it wil stay in smooth and good shape. And a good tip from someone below......put the needle in from the back...take it out through the front. Not everyone does so...like yourself....but it seems a wise thing to do so. What is your opinion about that subject? But as I said....very good close up demonstration!! Greetz from the Netherland.

Hi Bas. Well the only thing I ever lubricated was the spring in the back. Nothing else. As for the needle. Nowadays when I clen my airbrush, I push the needle forward but not fully. I WIPE off the paint and then pull it out from behind. But I do this only wen I flush out the airbrush several times. That way I minimise back fill. However when I do a full clen I pull it from the front out.

Well , i was happy they are so generous and give you additional needle ... Didn't knew it is supposed to be changed with the nozzle as well lol ... :D i might have found why my airbrush is leaking from the tip...

This airbrush came with 2 needles. A 0.2 and 0.4 and corresponding nozzles. But every time I was assembling the airbrush after cleaning, I forced a needle too far forward thus making the nozzle bigger.

@@Mysmallhobby Did you experience the nozzle guard rubber rupture ? that rubber around the thread? cause i had either bubbling in the paint cup or drip from the nozzle.. and bubbling is cause by not tightening the thread enough (i thought) but when i tight the thread to the end , i rip the rubber
@Mysmallhobby5 жыл бұрын
@@winterhear Well I do have a problem of bubbles forming in the cup, if I do not tighten the head properly. How ever I did inspect the rubber seal and did not see any defects. But I am 80% sure that when new, that did not happen. But the rubber seal is not that expensive to replace.

@@Mysmallhobby Thanks for the replies ! Yes , when the airbrush is a new , it doesn't happen. I must had tight it too much and i dentured the rubber which with more and more cleaning / taking off the nozzle head did eventually weared out. Yes it's easy replacement. And btw thank you for the video , i did replace the correct needle to the right nozzle width and driping stoped completly!

the front end aircap has a nozzle. it looks like it has an O-ring on it. do you happen to have any idea what size that is? it looks like I lost mine, and now Air does not leave the front end.
@Mysmallhobby Жыл бұрын
Hello. Harder&Steenbeck Evolution has two o-rings. 1. On the end of the nozzle its a PTFE seel HS123180 inner diam. Aprox 1.8mm 2. On the end of the air cap wher the nozzle sits. HS123190 inner diameter: approx 4.5 mm
