Update!- What kind of paint do I use on concrete statues?

I've been restoring old concrete statuary and painting new ones for over 5 years now. I've been using those patio paints forever and they are very nice. You should look into the folkart outdoor extreme, same size and they are usually next to the patio paint section. The paint is a little thicker than the patio paint which is a little runny and I find it's better quality. I mainly outdoor acrylic latex paint but these are nice and work. Always seal with a brush on water based acrylic sealer, the aerosols don't work , clear gloss acrylic paver sealer works great.

Just watched your previous video; I've been using the craft outdoor paint for small projects for quite a few years, they stand up very good, never had a problem with them. Glad you were made aware of them, think you'll be pleased.

Walmart also sells some outdoor paint in small bottles…different brand, but seems to work good. Love your videos!

u should do an update on these paint... last year I went to hobby lobby during the summer and bought some out door paint (same and different bottle), i painted couple of my planter and give it to my father, which he leave it outside during winter (midwest snow). this summer i went n check it out, i notice paint chipping... i almost forgot, i also got 2 which i bought indoor during the winter... the paint still good.

Can I use this to seal my statue too in a 50/50 ratio or should I stick to house paint?

Hello. I usually buy flat exterior latex paint for my statues. I accidently bought one that also had primer in it. Should I even use it? I wanted to use it as a base wash. Thanks!
