I like the list very much. I'm trying different variants from my deck. But try switching out droll for the jellyfish card You could try to see your board breakers easily.

like the list (tho i don't own thrust yet, hoping it's price drops now to get some). why the ROTA tho just for soldier? (which at 3 already seems a lot given it's not a starter) overall there are so many fun techs that can be used in this deck that your only limitation is trully the space :D

Thrust should be getting reprinted in the mega tins so it should definitely go down soon! And yeah the rota is for another copy of toy soldier. I find that having that be an option is very nice, also it means that if my thrust is live, I can get access to my toy engine if I need to which is also nice. Love this deck ngl!!!

Have you tested Fiendsmith with this yet? A free Caesar/Desirae has been nice so far but getting the ratios dialed in with 3 engines is challenging.

I mean the fiendsmith cards are definitely busted lol, i just dont think its absolutely needed tbh. It takes up a lot of slot in both the main and extra deck too. I think having all three engines and adding a brick in lurrie isn't worth it, but thats just my opinion. They are defo crazy cards though haha. Also I don't think it particularly solves any of the deck's issues and just plays harder into droll too. I also don't own the cards and would rather focus my money on more shiny qcrs rn too lmao.

@@magmatrooper949 I like running a single fiendsmith engraver in the main deck. it is easy to get to Desirae. but it does take space in the Extra deck, which is not cool.

I also play white Forest Toy. I sometimes run into the problem that I don't draw any wf monsters in my start hand. I play the same as you +1 additional rucia. How do you manage that problem? Also: Have you tried Diabellstar?

I don't like playing 2 rucia cause if its my only white forest name in hand, using my normal for it and getting a random draw isn't ideal. I play the piri map card thing to add more consistency so I basically have 5 copies of astellar instead of 3. Diabellstar is cool but again it would just be adding more cards that would take away from non engine. In a different format perhaps and maybe when the new azamina stuff comes out. I sold my wanteds and diabellstars like a month ago so imma just wait for the mega tin reprints anyways lol.

Which sleeves do you use? main and double

For the main deck they are both dragon shield. The inner sleeves are the old dragonshield art sleeve that they don't sell anymore unfortunately. You'd have to find someone selling them online somewhere. The outer are just standard size clear dragonshields. The extra deck inners are the centurion sleeves from japan.

pros is always gonna be a crazy good card, but the extra deck is really tight, and I don't ever really wanna be banishing 6. I prefer the other consistency pieces i play instead.

If Shifter gets banned, the game is gone. The graveyard is now beyond being a “second” hand these days, and as long as the Graveyeard continues to be this overpowered part of the game, Shifter, being a card not for every deck should remain off the banlist. At best, just semi limit it. Necessary evil. I’ll also say the only Shifter deck I play is Ritual Beast and even then, it took them until the recent support to become meta relevant again, NOT because of Shifter.

I respectfully disagree. Shifter doesn't keep graveyard decks in-check, it completely destroys them for 2 whole turns and all you have to do is open it. Even worse, if you are going first and you use it, the person going second has literally no out other than running a 1 of gamma that would be suuuuuper unoptimal and especially to use it against that. The graveyard is a resource and that is fine, cards like dweller exist, there are a number of spells that shut off grave effects. A card like shifter is just way too unfair and doesn't lead to healthy gameplay. There are also tons of other cards that address the graveyard. Bystials, ghost belle, even mister has been a solid card to use before. For shifter decks, activating shifter basically says, let me shut off your entire deck plan while making my deck work even better than it probably should. Imo, tenpai, floo, ritual beast, ect. shouldn't have a card in their deck that is an auto win by shutting off a normal part of the game for 2 turns.
