I’m starting to see more and more of these “How I use my TN” videos and I am sooo thankful. I recently added a TN to my planner lineup for this year. I was exclusively using rings and was kind of lost when it came to TNs but I wanted to give it a try. (I’m hooked). I had to go back 3-4 yrs to see how others were using theirs since in the recent years I feel like everyone’s been mainly focused on the decorative aspect and not so much the functionality.

Same here; it’s hard to find “how” videos 😫

I just got my first TN style notebook yesterday!! I've been watching these videos and realized this style is perfect for my acting planner since it is so compact I can take it on set and to auditions and also use it as a wallet. I was having problems though finding the kind of inserts I need (submission tracker, audition tracker, work related expenses tracker) but your brilliant idea of just gluing the trackers on a blank page is brilliant! That's exactly what I'm going to do.

Yes they are perfect for traveling! I’m so glad this idea sparked a solution for you ❤️ Break a leg!

Hi Annie! I enjoy your videos SO much. I liked your Foxy Fix TN cover so much that I ordered one for myself yesterday. Dark Brown Spice with turquoise stitching and elastic. I can't hardly wait to get it! I am inspired by your planner videos and they encourage me to be in my planner more. Keep making these videos and blessing my life!

I enjoyed this video. I have decided to try the Travelers. Bought the Travelers from Designs By Planner Perfect and then order the calendar and Prayer Journal. I created another calendar that is more detailed for the month and I have moved everything from the Mini Happy Planner to this one. Those discs were driving me batty and I am not a fan out rings, so here we go. You gave me lots of ideas. Thanks.

I love your functional setup. Planner perfect has beautiful books. Your idea of using a journal for your daily for multiple months instead of a new book each month is great. I can't afford them monthly. I may have to rethink my system. Thanks for sharing!

I'm curious, can you share why you prefer strings over rings? Is it because of the size? Would love to see a video on how you approach archiving your used planner tn books and your ring inserts (from when you used rings).
@AnnieSmithawifenmother5 жыл бұрын
I think with strings it feels more like a notebook. And that is what I’m drawn to more 🤷♀️. I store my inserts in a box on my shelf. The TN books are just placed in there; the ring inserts I usually tie together with string like an old-fashioned bundle. I did do a video on that a looong time ago. It’s still on my channel.

Since you started ordering your groceries instead of going to the store, have you done a video where you talk about how you keep track of your budget with Dave Ramsey's system? I follow Dave Ramsey's method and use the Every Dollar Budget app/website, but would like to be tracking it in my journal in some way. I'd love to see your ideas.

I do plan to show my finances soon. But basically I use a checkbook register and write the amount each week for food and keep a running balance.

I love this so much! So functional and still fun to plan in and flip through. I’d love to see a video on busy activities and how you plan stuff like that for the littles not yet in school. Totally selfish motivation too 🤣💕

Bummer...6:03, I noticed the boxes of the first week of April have half of writing space taken up with day of the week headers. They should have put that on top. I’ll stick to my personal BuJo style.

Absolutely brilliant! You took what you love about rings and adapted it to strings. I can't stand loose paper because I'm clumsy and bound just seems neater. I saw a video where someone dropped their planner and rings popped open and paper went everywhere. Not that it can't happen in strings but less likely and less messy. But obviously personal choice and everyone is different. For me I love the squish and feel of strings in my hand. Also bound paper makes me feel more secure. I have a home discbound planner but I found I never take out the pages or move them around. Thank you for sharing, you are always a joy to watch and learn from.
