Squirrel Girl is a pretty decent DPS, but her ult isn't very good unless the whole enemy team is clumped together in a confined space. But that's fine, I'm glad not every character has a squad-wiping ult. Overwatch kinda went overboard on the overpowered ults and it got kinda tiresome.

I’ve had so many games where I think because I have a mantis on my team that we have a healer. Team up ability for magneto and wolverine - Wolverine gets his adamantium drained and now has boneclaws. Every 3rd successful slash will cause the target to bleed for X amoint of damage . Magneto buffed with adamantium armour. Plus 150 health.

If he is able to dive in and out however he wants and still kills people, he might as well be a duelist. His role as vanguard dictates that he either has that mobility and survivability to harass but can't kill, or has the damage to kill but sacrifices the mobility and survivability like Thor. For the variety sake of the game, I think its fair for devs to do so.

He's good for forcing them off the point and objective away from the their team but not getting that pick when you need to can really change the tide of a match, his pathetic damage will get outhealed quick and he'll instead be feeding the enemy team their ult charge. why not give him that slight extra damage? Mantis is a better DPS than half the DPS roster and she's a support.

@@SonicAdventureEnjoyer I think devs have to treat Cap's stats card very carefully because his skill set is too powerful. He has a speed boost he can trigger whenever he likes, and he has a Y-axis leap whenever he likes, he has a dive-in damage skill and a horizontal damage dash skill. That ensures his survivability and mobility. The major downside is his lack of insta-kill capabilities and his shield isn't whenever he likes. As for now the win rate gap of cap between lower ranks and top ranks differs a lot, with he being a shredder in qm and bronze, and as rank progresses it gets progressively weaker. Therefore I think devs do need more time to observe and adjust the balance between it being a game breaker in lower ranks and it being totally garbage in higher ranks. Damage adjustments are extremely sensitive, because even the most minor damage change will have a chain effect in kill breakpoints and ult charge rate. So at this point, when we are one month into this game, I am supportive of devs making more conservative changes instead of changing vital stats like damage. If season 2 adjustments are still like this then that will be questionable, but those are for later. P.S. Mantis is support doesn't mean she has to have weaker attacks that DPS, almost all hero shooters have supports that can out DPS the DPS. Her kit's instant health lifting abilities and resource management between damage buff and healing can be challenging. But Mantis's ult alone is OP as hell...It's a straight-up Tier 0, so don't compare Mantis to poor Cap...She's getting that nerf...

In addition to the shield, it seems to me that Hulk now gets more damage from everyone. It is literally impossible to live on he, when you go forward you already understand that you are going to die. Without a heal that will only go towards Hulk, you can't live on he even for a minute. Hulk now seems to have a passive in the form of heart failure, which causes more damage to him from blows and shots from enemies.

1. Storm I still think should've gained a slight move speed increase for her own speed aura (helping her play low-cover situations), but projectile improvements are welcome too. She's honestly already in a better spot than most people think. 2. Namor I'm surprised throwing squids doesn't look much different. I half expected being able to chuck them onto ceilings. (But I also don't feel Namor needs much help, at least not with his squids -- making his spear more dangerous might be good; he puts out tons of damage, but it's a little tricky to actually finish people off.) 3. Black Widow the changes here _might_ be enough, but I suspect a faster firing rate might've been a better change. (Still keeps the weapon outside 1-shot range, but lets you defeat opponents faster.) 4. Squirrel: let's hope that useless ult is better; it was awful. 5. Cap: all these changes should be great, and taken together might even make this an oppressive tank next season. I'm already getting decent value this seaon, but it's often hidden value (I don't outright block projectiles, but I have tons shot at me while dancing around backlines, which amounts to a very similar thing). 6. Strange I'm worried about. My winrates on the two "slow" tanks (Groot/Strange) are abysmal but at least the damage made them okay. Granted, I underuse his portal (I should just start using it on first spawn every time). 7. Thor is straight nerf, due to losing 100 HP seasonal to gain 25 HP permanent. 8. Venom in this video is probably the most disappointing part, as numbers on his ult are hard to track down. At minimum it'd have been nice to side-by-side compare before/after ulting the same robots. 9. Rocket's changes are near perfect. He's a maniac when played correctly, but he just needed a tiny bit more HPS on single targets. (Jeff can toss bubbles, but Rocket only has his right-clicks.) 10. Wolverine should be a monster this season too. Already top-tier, he's been significantly buffed. Honestly they should've worked to clean up his dive and make it a bit more predictable whether you'll grab someone, since that's the main technique that makes him unplayably bad for low-skill players, but extremely good for high-skill.

It might be enough just to disconnect the cooldowns of her empowered aura. You know so you can hit E at the start of the fight, use the ~8 sec lightning, but then switch to movement and E away (since it's already _somewhat_ a defensive cooldown, it's just rarely used that way due to how precious offensive "E" use is).

Bro, if you are getting caught by jeff’s ult consistently. You have a big skill issue, jeff’s ult is one of the worst in the game. Bottom 4 worst ults, along with scarlet witch, black widow and squirrel girl, and two of those are getting a buff while Jeff’s is getting a flat nerf. Jeff’s ult is likely going to be THE worst ult next season. But probably still see more play than Black Widow since you have to play Black Widow to use her ult.

Overall though, Luna snow and mantis is much stronger than jeff as Jeff is very easy to target.

Widows kick,shot, grapple, shot combo should kill if the cooldown is going to be as long as it is for the kick. The bullet after the kick and grapple should do more damage than normal, that’s a high skill play. Her sprint was buffed which is nice but she still underperforms. Why does her bolt action sniper have a reload? We are moving in the right direction for this character but there needs to be a bit more.

FR why did they nerf Scarlet damage on Tanks. Her Ult sucks and she has no good ranged attacks. They need to buff Scarlet more. Either reduce the Buildup to her ult so it’s not easy to get rid of, or boost her damage output. I could be wrong but this is just my opinion.

From my personal experiences the kick is not an issue and only used to leave after kills/doing damage in the backline when everyone traps you or to finish off low hp opponents. The main issue is the block cooldown which is your main form of survivability and damage.

Rivals devs did say they were going to focus on Buffs over Nerfs, with very light touches on nerfs to get characters to where they need to be balance wise. They don't want to just completely nuke characters like so many other Hero Shooters have done by over correcting. Plus S0 was hella short, so they only have what, a month of data? Now they'll have a full 3 before the next season so they can adjust with more data next time

Honestly these seem like patch changes more based on around high elo play. I’m a GM1 player and I will tell you at that level panther is actually insanely overpowered. I main cap so…I’m eating pretty good lmao. But a couple of these don’t make any sense. How’re you gonna nerf Mantis movement speed cause you can acknowledge that’s an issue, and Buff Storms damage and attack speed cause those were issues- But not change Hela or Hawkeye? The two characters they specifically name dropped for nerfs before the patch notes were even out. Changing Hela’s health makes no sense, she’s supposed to be in the back sniping and staying safe. Hawkeye is literally not even changed substantially enough to mention him. And why does Scarlet have increased range and tick damage on her aim assisted primary 💀. That’s just more incentive for easily intimidated players to pick her. How are you gonna give Storm a better decaying shield after her ult but NOT give Scarlet or Magik some sort of survivability for their ults?

Hulks shield gives invulnerability for 2.5 seconds, reduction from 250 to 200, means 2 seconds instead of 2.5. It is not 50 less damage before it breaks.

Yeah so my mains are hulk mantis and wolverine. Ever since i went rank i have noticed how quickly my shield would drop when i fight the enemy and now that they nerfed it i don't know how i am supposed to survive now. Wolverine's adjustments hopefully will help me survive longer. And mantis i am gonna be honest deserved the nerf. Be able to move faster than my entire team by a large margin especially at the start of the match makes zero sense to me. I am meant to be in the back not the front.

The Hela Teamup Nerf of 20 to 15% damage nerf is actually more significant than most think. 5% damage nerf now makes it so she no longer 3 shots 250hp targets, and 1 headshot with 1 body shot, no longer aswell. Now she requires atleast 4 body shots to kill legends like magik, spiderman, psylock, etc. Her damage use to be 84 per shot for total of 252 after 3 hits, new damage will be 80 per shot for only 240, leaving target with 10hp left. pretty major

I wish characters like Scarlett Witch and Cloak (not Dagger) would need to track the opponent and not have auto aim... But give them more damage instead, so the better you are, the most value you can get out of the characters. Right now it's just a low skill floor and low skill ceilling character, very boring to play as and against.
