You probably won't see this since this video was made a few years ago but I feel the need to leave it anyway on the off chance that you may read it & reply. 1st I'd like to say thank you so much for sharing this. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE it! This one bracelet just combines several particular looks that I just can not get enough of. I'm so excited to try making it but right when I was about to I realized something.. I have no idea how you were able to get a raised up embossed image from the cursive writing. I have several script style stamps but they would all leave an impressed image on the clay since the letters are raised on the stamps. I do have a stencil of cursive writing, could I somehow use that? Can I ask, how on earth were you able to do that?! I'm so disappointed that I do not currently have a way of achieving that effect because it means that I can't try making this just yet. So I'm really hoping you see this & get back to me asap, I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much again!
@SweetWillowDsgn5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jasmine. I'm so glad you liked this project. To get the raised texture I used an embossing folder meant for paper. It has both a negative and positive impression. Here's a link for a similar one as an example: amzn.to/2sKzXF7 Hope you find one you like. THanks so much for watching!

Hi. Thanks so much for watching. I use Sculpey Premo! clay so can only speak to that clay. I haven't had any issue with breaking but I am not rough on the jewelry. I experiment with baking times/temperatures also to see how the clay performs strength. Experimenting might help you find just the right time/temp.
@udayanipathapati4225 жыл бұрын
@@SweetWillowDsgn I use Premo too... thanks for you advice.. I will definitely try and experiment. Keep up the good work!!

Mij hands are too warm. By the time I'm finished there will be no reliëf left. Even if I put my work in the fridge for a while. What to do? Btw: I like the red bracelet without the gem. Beautiful. Great tutorial! Thank you.
@SweetWillowDsgn6 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked the bracelet. I think you'll have to go slow and rest the clay quite a bit to counter the warmth of your hands. My basement is so cold I never have a problem! :) Thanks for watching.

Can this be done with a wooden cuff bracelet?
@SweetWillowDsgn4 жыл бұрын
You take a chance doing it on wood. Wood has moisture that causes the cuff to expand/contract which could crack the clay. I would try baking the wood cuff first to remove as much moisture as possible then cover.
@debbiegaines13624 жыл бұрын
Do you use the blanks so that you don't have to add closures?
@SweetWillowDsgn4 жыл бұрын
Hi Debbie. The style I was going for was a traditional cuff. I found that just using polymer clay was not sufficiently strong so I use the blanks for strength.
