Kinda wish the crit buff didn't fight grenades and grenades were actually an AoE explosion worth building into and not hoarding for the sake of keeping up the crit rate (which is too low by default/with no stacks). So ya, fix that.

Thank you for the update of this weapon, this is one of my favorite weapon along with the masterpiece and thunder cage, as you can see I’m A bunny main so these weapons are perfect for me because I like electric in all loot shooter games

I got a busted reactor with gold crit damage and electric for this weapon mounted I just had wrote into Nexon customer service about buffing this weapon and the next day it got fixed I hope moving forward that they make weapons in the battle pass viable . I know people will complain that is pay to win, most people don’t know what that is and it’s notorious that a lot (not all) people who say they are F2P like people who have to tell everyone they are vegan it’s a PVE game. And because Non is a gatcha game developer , it’s normal for a battle pass weapon to be usable Look at genshin ot wuthering waves or many other games , there is 99 percent of the time multiple weapons from BP being viable .

@@coldfries8976 me too man , I actually do use my guns with my bunny .THE EXCVA works well with my valby that I also main . I know people have complained about the battle pass. And I’m glad that they gave us a another page , I don’t wanna sound ungrateful, but that’s not sufficient enough we pretty much get back to caliber that we spent for pass the cosmetics are …ok. But once again if the first gold weapon, we are given is by far one of the most busted ones(thunder cage )they can make the BP on equal grounds

Seasonal buffs should be included as an extra to the calculations, not part of.

I don’t get why it has such a low crit rate! It’s non existent. Sure it gets buffed slightly by stacks but that’s only noticeable on something beefy enough to survive you building stacks up like a boss.

The stacks are additive to base crit, and they’re permanent so long as you don’t fire off the grenades. It’s still a trash weapon even with that though.

Tbh, I'd be willing to bed Nexon keep the seasonal buff on it after the season is over. Not guaranteed, but I'd bet on it. It's still a fun gun to use, even though it's not "The best weapon in the game".

I kind of think this was the point ,give them 3 for free so it can be lvl 2 ability , buff it using the inversion reinforcement to persuade people into paying attention to that mechanic and using the reinforcements , end of season gun prob gets a buff , rinse and repeat every season with a new FREE ult weapon.. this is a amazing concept.. idk why you would think they would give out a busted gun for free ? And for the people who spend money they can get it to lvl 4 ability

How would you math the DPS for the gun without the seasonal buff? If i'm going to invest, it's for the long haul, not for a season. With the seasonal buff at 51% Firearm ATK, that would be a significant drop in DPS, no? I think there would be better things to invest in, this is very misleading.

Just don't invest anything on this gun only if u had extra catalyst just for fun but for a long run here are my list thundercage, python, greg, enduring, piercing light or afterglow, once max all this u can go wild on other but for now theres no value weapon to max catalyze maybe executor.

The other question on my mind: Is it even worth maxing this with catalyst investments over another gun/character? Since after the season invasion buff vanishes, so does some of the excava dps. Counterpoint: There will probably be newer guns each season, and they may introduce "power creep" with guns and characters.

I would invest in other guns first coz sounds like a gamble on dps after season finishes. Personally, I think you get more out of tweaking the descendant builds than investing in most guns. If grenade had an aoe, it might be different 😢

​@@rootbeer2622all the inversion buffs are pretty forgettable, even after the negatives were removed. Very forgettable "rental power". Excava just needs the max crit as baseline and work from there to make the grenade procs more interesting. Inversion buff superficial for Excava should be more like 10sec or just be assume to be up more or less 100% as sustained DPS (whatever the average time is to build 3 grenades at max upgrade). All the exotic ARs are poop at the moment.

While just silly and for fun thing.... Did you know? You can activate Gley's infinite ammo and continually fire off the EXCAVA's grenades (while flash blinding youself). No time to loop it, so having more duration is best if doing that.....

It's a visual thing. Others have tested it and found that there's no change in damage, as apparently, it's not actually firing the grenades. Which is such a bummer..

Been trying to play this game since launch and I have about 6 energy reactors and a dozen and a half crystillizations? Wish I had a gaggle of friends throwing themselves at my feet so I could grind out the most difficult content and endlessly grind those two items and their required resources. Hoping the rng is heavily buffed on the reactors and catalysts. Imagine the player count if these were easier to obtain instead of the rng favoring cash sales. Oh well. Thank goodness for Once Human and Warframe.
