The abh is very good at not drying out….I’ve had mine for years now and I don’t use a zip lock bag….if you ever do need to soften/loosen it again there is a product made by INGLOT which is superb for all that type of thing, eyeliners etc., 1 drop will fix anything and the bottle will last a lifetime…

Purchased this after seeing your video “why haven’t I tried these products before”. Already made a gauge in product when I first applied it. This video is totally different than my first attempts! To our American friends - 55° is approx 140f 🌡 I think I'd be neurotic about closing the lid and double zip bagging it, 😂 Seriously, I'm so glad you've thoroughly demonstrated this, I've been unsure as to how use this properly. Hi Gemma I have been using this pomade for a few years now and if you watch the Anastasia Beverly Hills tutorial it shows you to take a very small amount of the product out and put it on the lid (I put it on the back of my hand) and dip your brush in this. This way you can put the top back on straight away and the product doesn't dry out x

Very pretty. I’m gonna try that same technique. I’m having such a hard time getting pencils to even make a mark so they don’t work for me. I bought a pomade but have never used it yet. Too intimidated I guess, but that looks pretty easy. Thank you for a great video. ☺️

Storing the pomade upside down may prevent it drying out as well. I store cream eyeshadows that way.

Exactly what I do with mine. I’ve had mine over a year and a half and it’s just now starting to dry out. However, I’ve switched to the Anastasia brow powder with the nyx micro pencil as I feel it gives a more natural look.

I have a scar just to the right of middle in one brow so no hair grows in that tiny area. I hate the marker pen type things. I try to fill it in with a pencil but can’t put much pressure on it because the pigment really grabs. I have the Mercier Sketch & Intensify Pomade and Powder Duo, which seems to work the best.

Pears soap rocks. Amazon,3$ and I’ve had it for years and have sensitive skin. Nyx pencil, ash brown, so good. I was looking at the before picture of your browns. In daytime normal, nothing special day - I really like them. They’re delicate and matches your face. I’m gonna have to try the brow gel one day❤️.

i feel like pomades have been calling me. for decades i used powder (eyeshadow actually). this past year i transitioned to pencil, but feel like it's too... penciled. but pomades kinda intimidated me - until now. i like the trick of using the width of the brush to push the color up into the brow for a filtered look. thanks for this.

Curious as to the color choice of taupe. I also use the nyx in ash brown and I’ve only ever bought the ABH pomade in soft brown. How do you feel the taupe compares to the ash brown?

i use the pomade as a loner too- smudges beautifully and stays as a great smudged eye look. i cannot use the soap because i “sweat” and the soap makes a mess and makes me cry 😢

I was afraid of the dip brow!! I was afraid of “Instagram Brows” and looking harsh. I found that using one shade lighter than powder or pencil helped me feel more confident.

I love how you apply hair like strokes but I have two very different brows. One has way less hair on the tail, the other at the front. I’ve been using Benifit’s Brow Conditioner for a couple of years now& it’s a little better but still hard to do hair strokes in these baldish areas. Any suggestions?

A brand called Technic- Ive only seen it on sale on Wilco website - but they do a brow pomade with a powder and it was £4 i think. Surprisingly good and not a lot of difference to ABH which I’ve had before.

I depot a working amt of pomade into a small clean airtight jar --so then I'm only opening the main jar 3-5x in a year so I get to the bottom of that sucker without it ever drying out 👌🤩 works for gel liner too 🙌

How is the ABH any different from Smashbox's brow pomade with the wax right next to it, came out years ago and I still have a few left with some in it. Thoughts? Your brows do look lovely tho I must say. Thx Gemma!

Porridge,coffee and Gemma 😁I have thick brows naturally, pencils with fine tip are not for me,I waste all of it so quickly and it's so time consuming doing them,it never ends 🤣I am a pencil lady, taupe,cool blonde shades preferred although not easy to find them without orange undertones..

I use the ABH clear brow freeze and still use the Nyx brow pencil. I hesitated to use the colored pomade because I wasn’t sure if it will control my brow hairs well enough. My brow hairs are stubborn and nothing I’ve used has worked. The clear brow freeze is a success. Does the colored pomade work just as well?

I use the ABH brow powder first then go in with the freeze. Should I be using the other way around? I have a natural brow stroke tattoo so just add powder to the end tip (to sharpen a bit) and a little at the baseline to accentuate the arch a little more. I like to get that right then freeze. Does it matter? Thanks!

In my experience ABH pomade dries up so fast in the pot. Essentially thats so much product down the drain.

I’ve been using ABH Dipbrow for years, have it in taupe, blonde & soft brown (I think it’s soft brown) Only 1 has dried out, the newest 1!! A couple of drops of eye drops, mix well & it’s like brand new!👌🏼😍 That’s a tip I was told…

@@Patti-1962 Hi lovely! 👋🏼 I have eye drops for ‘Dry eye’ but I believe any will do! Even cheapie ones. I’ve seen also where you can pop it into the microwave for 10 seconds with a drop of oil but the eye drop method worked brilliantly for me. Just apply 2-3 drops to start & mix well (I used a Mac Donald’s little stirring stick for coffee! 😂) ❤️ xx

Dip Brow has never lasted in the pot for more than a few months, it dries out every time! No matter how I store it I end up chucking it out way before I have even put a dent in it. Shame, love the product but it is too expensive to keep buying.
