(UPDATED) Cricket Wireless $60 Unlimited Plan Review & My Free iPhone SE

This is my newest cricket wireless review. This one is different from the old one. The old review was still when all but the highest $60 plan didn’t have 5G and had a 8 Mbps speed cap. Since then that has been changed. So, I made a new review. And also talked about the free iPhone SE deal and other good deals on phones!*

I'm only interested in the 60 plan because it's not deprioritized like most prepaid plans. Currently on the Metro 50 plan.

Especially unlimited priority data for a prepaid carrier. It’s amazing and I hope some other MVNOs follow suit. Metro’s $50 plan ain’t bad either. I just don’t have good T-Mobile.

I think it's kind of stupid they don't have phone deals or at least good ones for existing customers. Like the deals they have to get new customers on phones is great. But, they should have something for existing customers.

How good is your signal on your se and how reliable has it been on the 60$ plan

I live in this weird spot where AT&T does good, okay, or terrible in my house depending on where I stand or sit. But 95% of the time I’d say I usually at least get half bars and about 10 Mbps down. Usually band 14. And it’s been good on the $60 plan. I mean I got it for 3 months so I could get the iPhone SE. So it’s not like I get a choice but I really am considering Cricket as my secondary line. Cause most of the time I get very good signal with good speeds almost everywhere I go.

Yeah $180 is not free plus screen is to small. I wish they would lower the price on iPhone 11.

Oh I know. The XR is an okay deal but the modem isn’t that great. I bet probably next holiday unless Apple releases a cheap 5G phone that they may give away the 11 for 3 months of paying up front.

I have the moto one 5g stay away from it there is no android 12 coming to it

@Tim Williams yeah I got the se and so far it shows my area is covered in 4g but in my room I only get 1-2 bars of signal which is ok but after the 3 months of service I might switch to metro to see how there service is with the iPhone se

You know in my room I usually get 2-3 bars. And I’m thinking the same thing. Or I was thinking also about just getting a free iPhone SE with them. And on both carriers switch down to the cheaper plan when I can. And then at 6 months unlock the devices and use whatever carrier I want. Plus I would like the same phone across all 3 major carriers. Not cause I want the same phone I mean I want different devices. But, at least I’d have the same device for each carrier and it would make the results more accurate vs testing LTE on and iPhone SE and LTE on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
