Adrian Peterson.. he's 39 and said he would still play. Lol .. I'd bring in AP and let him run a 40. If it was 4.6 or better .. I'd sign him.. He'd be better than your last 4 guys. Dowdle avg'd 4.1 yds/carry last year .. Freeman avg's 4.0 yds/carry last year- If you can get a repeat of that this year- I'd feel a little better. This is still the worst RB room since the 1970s before Dorsett arrived.

Dowdle is RB 1 (right now), Zeke is your short yardage/pass pro, I wouldn't mind if they let Turpin go and then go Tolbert, Brooks, Flournoy, Crooper or Durden step up.

Turpin is more explosive.. and quicker than Cole Beasely. All they need to do w Turpin is dust off the plays they had for Beasely and put them back in the playbook.. w Turpin running them. If you gave him 4-5 Beasely/type/touches/game plus punt returns it would be enough.

Dowdle avg'd 4.1 yds/carry last year. Royce Freeman avg'd 4.0 yds/carry last year .. I agree that Malik is likely better than most of the rest of the room. Zeke was 3.5 yds/carry in 2023, Deuce was 1.7 yds/carry in 2023.. they are at the back of my list. Snoop Conner was good in College and doesn't have alot of NFL miles on the clock.. give him a good look during preseason. All that being said .. We don't have a real/RB1 .. Pretty weak RB room - currently.

It's funny because Zeke is a joke and you've got him at RB1 ... he averaged 3.5 yds/carry for New England.. and 37 yds/game. Zeke also averaged 2 yds/carry for the Cowboys during the playoffs of 2022. It's no longer fresh outta college 22 yr old Zeke ... it's overpaid, lazy, tubby, don't really care that much Zeke.

dowdle is better and freeman probably won’t make the team and zekes blocking went down as well and if you say short runs hunter L is way better dude is a 2-3 yard monster and now that we got rid of tyler badiaz we can make them 4th and 1s lol dude was so weak for a center he got pushed back every play and the center is the most important part for short or at the goal line. even tho we don’t have a real rb room they should look better than last year just for that reason. zeke will be lucky to get rb2 I think that whole rb room is up for grabs dowdle at the top of the ranks his spot to lose. it will be a interesting camp. I hope zeke gets beat not that i dislike him but rbs don’t have comeback season like other positions so if he gets beat that means someone is stepping up.

Cuz Dak can't hit guys is why .. a different QB hits all the receivers from last year... not just CD and Ferguson. Cooks is a speed guy, speed guys are deep/ball guys. Dak's "NFL interception leader" status had McCarthy cut out the deep ball for almost 1/2 the season last year = Cooks got cobwebs.
