The game has a lot of splash damage in upper town halls, and there is no way barbarians can circumvent that. Either way the equipment is pretty good in lower town halls.

From watching pro matches everyday. Personally i think Rocket spear+shield is much better and safer than hog+haste now. I've seen so many attacks where Rc gets no value with the haste+ hog, especially when defenses are a bit dense.

I think so too because the hogs can be taken out super easily by either the defenses or bombs meanwhile nothing can take the rocket spear away. With the shield you just delete multiple defenses and then if you have it maxed then the rc throws 10 spears with increased damage at a crazy range where no defense can kill the rc. I think it's much better than haste and hogs.

So, the initial ranking is about what is best overall, but the chart after goes into more detail. The eq boots, opens up a lot of walls and does good damage to opposing defenses. If both the spikey ball and eq boots hit, it clears any defenses with 4160 hp or less, and the others get pretty low

I still hate how the equipment system was introduced. I wish they added like an ore mine to the cave part of the builder base as well as being able to get them via attacking in the BB specifically. That would make it so that you have a real incentive to play the BB and have both passive and active ways to get them. I don’t think you should be able to get a ton of them, but I don’t want to have to wait years to max out equipment because of the fact it’s really really slow to obtain ores and then only to have the equipment I was working towards be nerfed. I think there’s too many levels to the equipment in general, but I could live with that if there was better ways of getting ores. I don’t want to HAVE to spend my raid medals just to afford maybe half of a level every week. I don’t want to HAVE to participate in war despite my heroes constantly upgrading since they never decreased upgrade times. The system was half-baked into existence and I still fail to see why the system has to be this way when I think there’s plenty of other ways we could have had ores introduced, but instead we got a massive pay to win system that the casual players will have zero chance to enjoy within a reasonable amount of time.

I do super archer blimp, King and Queen down one side and spam Dragons n Loons on the other. Earthquake boots are fantastic for going around the outside of the base as well because you can reach inferno towers and other high damage buildings you might’ve missed so your queen can then go in and grab those because she lags behind a little. The spiky ball helps that even more by helping the funnel for said queen to go and get those aforementioned towers and buildings.

A great idea would be scraping all our equipments and pushing them back to level 1 while giving us our ore value to make reasonable upgrades since the nerf already made some equipments more than some and alot of players made many mistakes in upgrading bad equipments. we'd have the same ore value for our equipments, meaning it won't be a buff to our equipment levels overall but to how we manage our ores

@@Skragety what I said was stupid? Are you serious? First, no, there’s not one best equipment for your heroes, it literally depends on your army, strategy, and base you’re attacking. I’m max th16 and use almost every equipment depending on the base I’m attacking. There are only two that I’d call bad. Second, let’s say we did do it your way. You can sell your bad equipment levels and get the ore return to use on others. It wouldn’t be a one time thing because if they tried to do a one time thing, the whole fan base would throw a hissy fit like they always do and demand it be done again. So it would be a new usable feature. All you’d need is the right amount of ore to max a couple epics then you’d never have to worry about ores again because you could just constantly sell and change your ores to which equipment you wanted that attack. That would completely defeat the purpose of trying to get ores. The entire point of the game is constant progress so why would this be any different? Wanna try a different equipment? Work at it and upgrade it. Do constant wars to get the ore you need. I’m f2p and have most of my common equipments max and 3 epics one from max because I’ve done constant wars and bought ores every event. We’ve only had equipments for like a year. That’s not long on the scope of clash of clans. The only way your idea would work is if you lost a percentage of ore every time you sold, but even then it’s stupid. Just work on constant progress like everything else in the game. And don’t say something stupid like oh some equipments got nerfed and now they’re not good because you’re wrong. Every equipment that got nerfed is still very strong. I still use every single one that got nerfed.

For a long time before equipments they said that clan wars was really struggling. Lots of people weren’t doing normal wars because you didn’t actually get anything out of it. They wanted a way to have clan wars benefit you like league do with the medals. Now clan wars are doing much better because everyone is doing them to get ores. They’ve said many times that they want every aspect of the game to benefit your home village in some way to incentivize you to play it. Such as league medals, ores in clan wars, 6th builder and gem mine in builder base, raid medals in clan capital, etc. Your idea removes this incentive

The weakness of spiky ball is that it targets everything, not just defenses like shield does. Pros bypass that by sending the king inside the core then popping the ability or waiting till later stages of attack when most of the trash buildings are cleared. So Now you have a higher damage seeking shield that targets twice the no. Of defenses, one shotting them when combined with earthquake.

Max Hog Puppet hogs have 1080 hit-points. They will only die instantly if they spawn on double giant bombs, plus take damage from another defence. Usually they survive long enough to be a distraction which allows the haste-boosted RC to take out a few more defences.

Also what happens when there's a new th? with possibly new defences ? would you still stand by what you said?

It just depends on the base. If I pop her ability around some single target infernos or the monolith then hogs are exactly what I want. If I’m around scattershot and multis I go shield and spear to snipe them or haste and royal gem. Way too many people just want a one size fits all and expect it to work on every base. Every equipment is good but you have to plan which one fits the base you’re attacking the best

You obviously are forced to use it on the wrong bases because it’s all you have. Which is fine, I don’t have every equipment leveled up either. I don't have any epic equipment because I was not able to play for a year and now I come back and I have to pay 15 dollar for each epic equipment to get from the store or hope to get it from chests. I was not complaining about cosmetics but I don't think its fair for someone who took a break from the game to have to pay actual money in order to be able to unlock strategies.

In my oppinion the hogs die way too quick when used on champion to clear out spaces with defenses. Kinda useless most of the time, one giant bomb and theyre all gone pretty much, rather refill the HP bar to maximimum from almost empty

@@CiobanDavidevery single equipment is good and viable. Even if fireball gets nerfed it will still be good. If it seems like a strategy you want to try then upgrade it. If not, then don’t. Just focus on equipments that will fit your play style the best but remember that every equipment is viable even if nerfed so don’t be afraid to try something new. I’m max th 16 and use literally every equipment except barb and archer puppet with different strategies

Most pets are good, similar to equipment they have different use cases.

Rc with hog+haste -> Fox Rc with Rocket spear -> pheonix King with gauntlet -> Pheonix King with eq+spiky -> Fox Queen charge -> Unicorn Queen when Warden use unicorn -> frosty Warden walk/fireball -> unicorn, jelly.. Many good options for warden. Lizard is good against heroes and cc, diggie is good, owl is usually not bad and so on.

@@treyhelms5282depends on your attack. If you want RC to snipe certain defenses while out of range then shield and spear is the way to go. If theres a ground Xbow that’ll shoot her then I’d go with something else. Just depends on what you want exactly

Hog puppet is better version of royal gem. Instead of healing hitpoints you are spawning hitpoints. Scattershots and giant bomb are weakness but other than that you have a much higher healthpool

Stength wise all top 3 King combinations are pretty close. The reason why it is in this order is because Spikey ball + boots or vampstache is flexible and not as expensive as double epic. Double epic is probably still the best power wise, but the most expensive and gauntled and rage vial is still insanely strong, but it is not as good with air spam, so less flexible. So overall not really much has changed.
