iPhone X glass can be separated by Freezer Machine, but the bezel is hard to be detached.

I think you mean the antistatic wrist strap. It's used to prevent static electricity on human body from damage the components.

The frame should be glued with structural adhesive also. This glue tape can not hold the display for long .

@u666sa would the difference in loca glue thickness affect the 3d touch, laminating would have a uniformed layer of oca maybe why

@u666sa I thought the 3d touch was sensitive to the thickness of glue between glass and digitizer for it to function correctly if liquid is used the thickness would be hard to guage or will the 3d touch work regardless?

@@Mazlie Now that you mention n-hexane, I did find this industrial adhesive solvent from 3M called "Solvent No. 2" that is a mixture of "Petroleum Distillate, N-Hexane and Toluene". To be fair, 3M does also have a substitute product that is derived from citrus oil and contains no n-hexane, but they admit it doesn't perform as well.

And that's the big question but to answer your question yes indeed it'll work just fine, keep in mind that you have to disconnect both cameras flex cables which has the proximity sensor, so after disconnecting both of them there wouldn't be any risk of either damaging or breaking the face i.d, I like technology, and repairing stuff although isn't my profession my friends are always bothering me, cuz I fix all their devices, for free and I take as a hobby, too lol 😆 🤣😂
