Really been enjoying this build last few days, I've had fun but just need some better gear, I have a question, I was using the featherweight artifact and I found I could use 3 light and 2 heavy gear pieces and it put me in the 12.9 weight range, and when I wore all light gear it put me at 11.4, even tho it puts me in the light barcet with both gear setups, does that matter or should I just aim to stay in the light barcet?

Because its crazy damage boost. The Artifact also effects both equipped weapons so if you have keenly jagged on your fire staff it also works to add 15% damage on your fire staff.

I do at the moment. But I am updating my gear to remove fire harnessing. I am prioritizing full defensive perks in this new melee meta. I don't see AGS removing aim lock or tuning melee weapons soon.

You can use any Fire Staff that has Keenly Jagged. BIS Fire Staff is unobtainable for most players for the next 3-4 weeks IMO. Just use what you can.

I might make a video talking about the state of new world pvp. It's really annoying to play right now. Hatchet/SnS/Greatsword etc., all have really strong tracking and if you don't play perfectly they just home like a missile onto you! Super frustrating but I'm learning counters to it!

This looks fun but I'm not sure about pvp rapier without riposte... gg gameplay though, I'm sold on trying it... What are your thoughts on Inferno/Greataxe or regular firestaff/ The Abyss greataxe? Would that be good for pvp? Greataxe has charge, grav well, and am execute... unsure if that's hard to land but with firestaff burst it seems like it could 100-0 evepltankier players quick The Inferno/The Abyss/ The Finisher are all weapons I got recently so I am trying to figure out which I want to try to gear for

Yeah you can take points out of FnF if you'd like. I prefer the burst / grit from FnF. Riposte isn't a bad option though. I can't get over the animation lock after getting hit with it though! It gets me killed a lot

Honestly, you are using rapier more as utility/movement, so I would say to stay on fire damage on the armor pieces. I would say this build is good on solo (like PVP island), but in OPR i slightly prefer using the IG artifact for the damage boost, AOE and utility. Going 200 con is kind of a sacrifice though, thats the reason you can go between them and pick fights with people with no fire resistances. Cool vid though - detailed and not too lengthy :)

This is a crafted 700 gear score version. Just use any FS with Keenly Jagged. BIS will be unobtainable for the majority of players for the next week or 3.

Eh I don't really notice a huge DPS increase with it. You can run it for min/max though. I mainly use the weapon just to finish off targets and normal Ruby works for me
