Don't you need matrix to upgrade the gear to 700? If so, that makes it extremely hard for a lot of people in fresh servers. They usually cost 15-35k depending on the server, plus the 3 seals. That is a hard expense to use when you know the 725 gear will replace it.

I was just wondering that too. I got excited when he said all you need is chromatic seals, but then I checked and it definitely requires matrixes too. Kinda makes the easily farmable section obsolete

You are correct. Unless you get lucky on your first craft/drop with that third perk. I actually did on the first craft of Scaled Gauntlets which gave me Refresh as the 3rd perk. Not so lucky on the Azoth Crystal Mask craft. So I had to have my company crafter make a matrix. My advice would be join a company with a dedicated crafter. They usually will make it at cost minus whatever mat you provide yourself (throw in a tip to be a good team member). Our crafter charges 250 per Gypsum Orb (10 orbs needed for matrix). So out of pocket it cost me about 3k for this one (had the prismatic stuff from the season rewards). To buy everything on my server I think it would come out to about 5k. Not terrible in comparison to the Trade Post prices of 10k+.

@christowers7307 A coordinated war team will have 1 AoE healer usually and a bunch of Splash of Light healers! Honestly I'd just run AOE in the early wars until people get the hang of the game!

Use the VG its up to tank or others to use flail in my opinion 8k hours as healer main and I never use flail

Yes. They have one of the best FFA PvP builds - Life Staff / Void Blade. Also works insanely well in open world farming, etc!

i think if you have 2 pieces of it, it's good. If you only do 1, it's not as effective. I recently dropped some of my slash conditioning (due to hatchet nerf) and replaced with Freedom. Works well in OPR and Wars

For freedom to make much of a difference you need to stack at least 3 to minimize stun combos, etc. If you can't stack it then use a conditioning like thrust or slash.

Lacks heal over time. Viable with Beacon instead of Orb. Ideally though, you'd want to learn to play all AOEs!

I don't think that perk is more valuable than another Slash Conditioning / Enchanted ward IMO. It's possible to fit in though. Personal preference.

still feel like vigor is better and use gems for melee... lets you not take dmg in aoe dmg... even if they changed vigor.. im running lv 700 testing it... still feels viable... only problem is stagger... i have no clue how to combat that, if it is even possible

It's not bad by any means. It's the best 1v1 build in the game, it's just hard to find anyone who will actually sit there and fight you. I'm making a PVE / solo guide next. Should have it released tomorrow or the next day!
