You can remove smite mods for gladiator might (60% crit damage 40% crit chance) or blood rush (160% crit chance).

you can also run Melee Duplicate and dont run any crit chance booster mods like Gladiators Might or Blood rush and use that slot for Smite mods or really whatever you want.

@@Gott333 the closer you are to 100 means the more orange crits. you want yellow base crits to proc Melee Dupe. with just Galv Steel and a heavy attack its 70.4% crit chance which is nearly perfect for base yellow crit. anything more and youll be getting more orange than yellows.

@@Gott333You're correct here, for melee dupe, 120% would be better than 70% and at least the orange crits you're getting aren't non-crits

If you still want to see orange crit you can use blood rush instead of faction mod, it basically make up for the lost crit chance at 5x. Galvanized steel also completely outclass organ shatter on your run of mill cowbarf/cobweb light spam builds. I’d say even on tennokai hybrid build it’s better than amalgam organ shatter due to the already sped up heavy attack. Crack mods ngl.

@@satiivaindiica during the charge up, the initial combo meter would refresh, enabling blood rush. This is why blood rush has always been used on melee crescendo glaive builds

However, since we now have so much initial combo with galvanized reflex, blood rush can still give you 200% CC on every detonation. It wasn't used that much before because most glaive builds only have corrupt charge as a source of initial combo, which only goes to 2X

I would like to add that Galv steel seems to he bugged currently and is giving more than 220% crit on heavy attack, with just Glav steel glaive P can orange crit despite (supposedly) having only 83 crit chance. This is backed up by a Glaive P with True steel never orange criting despite having a higher crit chance multiplier.

I have a few questions: With that build you're at 70% crit chance, even with the added crit damage isn't that way too low? Is the reason power throw was removed that it is additive with other bonuses? Because theorically it's a 4x damage bonus which looks too good to pass on If you're bulding like that, is killing blow the most optimal damage mod to use? You already have 120% wind up speed and the damage is additive to pressure point

1: Remove killing blow for blood rush 2: (Power throw) The moment you stop throwing the Gleive you lose all the stacks, it is not that consistent, so I removed it. 3:the setup I'm using right now is Melee Elem, Primed pressure point, Gal reflex, Amal Organ shatter, Gal Steel, Blood Rush, Volatile Quick Return. 4: for the last slot, you can use power throw if you really like it (I hate it) or glad might for more crit chance and damage or smite mods I hope this helps.

I have riven with 110% slash 164% crit chance so I replaced pressure point with it and put on melee retaliation for base damage.

The normal one has 10% more status damage, and if I had to guess, maybe Glaive with a throw build doesn't really need the scaling status chance? Not sure about that, cuz I don't have the mod space to test the difference yet.

Status chance does not matter on glaive as ut force procs slash. also, the reg elemental gives heavy attack wind up so you can hit wind-up cap without killing blow

@@Rainollon tried to outsource the +dmg with arcane fury and added lasting sting. while it's true that the dps is lower than running ppp and arcane fury. The total dmg higher due to lasting sting. This makes me wonder, why do you think it's better to maximize dps rather than the total dmg? (Genuinely curious. I've had 2k hours in wf and never pay attention to these things until lately)

@@ricesweat9951 what you just did is you overcomplicate the build by forcing yourself to use arcane fury on every Warframe. The damage is higher now, BUT a lot of enemies will die by the 2nd or 3rd tick damage, which that makes lasting sting kinda useless. Enemies will not even get to the lasting sting ticks before the base status duration ticks. "why do you think it's better to maximize dps rather than the total dps?" It's hard to answer that because Glaives focus on both burst damage and damage over time. ALSO, I did remove killing blow for blood rush.
