When I ask hairdressers for a curtain bangs they always take 30 seconds to cut it and it never looks near as good as the one you have. Your stylist is definitely super talented!

Bangs have a LOT to do also with how you style them. I won’t cut bangs for a client that says they never style their hair/ hate styling everyday/ don’t own styling tools. It’s a commitment to train them. But yes this girl clearly is a talented stylist.

I asked for this today and I came out with the same old 30 second bangs and she said hers is way thicker than mine and it's just how it's styled. Bullshit it's how you cut it and my hair is thick AF!!!!!!!

I showed my nana matildas hair and she honestly executed it so perfectly. She layered the bangs like this and blended it back to the rest of the hair (as they’re talking about about half way through the video). She’s a true queen 💛 and I’m so happy with my bangs 🥺 I’ve had them for over a year now and they’re not going any time soon! She also takes a long time to cut them and that’s how I know she does them right. If a hairdresser takes 1 minute cutting this style bangs that’s a 🚩🚩 lol.
@bluevioletnova2 жыл бұрын
Hair texture, density, and hairline shape play a huge part in how these bangs lay on different people- So if you can't understand why yours look different than Matildas, it could be that one, (or all), of these factors are playing a part.

Right ?!!! I’m a hair stylist and the comment section on this video is pretty problematic.. lots of “no hairdresser i go to can ever get it right” types of comments. What people need to understand is that Matilda’s hair is very rare in its texture, density and ability to look the way it does without styling. She also has a tiny forehead and a surplus of hair that allows her to have full bangs without taking too much from the rest of her hair. So for all the people saying my hairdresser can never make it look just like Matilda’s, maybe try to learn what your unique hair type, density and texture is and find a style that works for your unique hair! Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

Hairdressers like this are so rare....she takes her time and knows how to cut for her face shape and hair type. Every hairstylist I've seen and I've seen a lot of them do the bare minimum. Finding a quality hair stylist is like finding a needle in a haystack.

As a Hair Stylist, sadly i agree. I myself would love to take good time and really frame each cut. But in many salons they set a " timer " on how long a cut should take. A 45 min, is around how long we get, and thats even with some people having thick hair. So there isnt always time to really to do so much detail :(

Well, that was unfortunate! I love these bangs, and I want to cut mine soon, but the camera person was standing on the wrong side, so we can't actually see how she is cutting them at all. And once the hairdresser moved to the other side, the video is all sped up, so I still can't see what she is doing. I was hoping to actually learn how to cut it visually because, like she said, just explaining it doesn't work.
