Also , 9 and 10 karats gold is way underrated, it looks the same as 14k gold but way more solid, why no one talks about it, i have no idea, you are the first one.

As far as I know, legally 9 karat gold can't be sold as gold in the US because it has such a low content of pure gold. So it makes sense if you can't find it widely available.

This is correct, 10K is the lowest level of gold purity that can be sold in the U.S. 9K is the lowest allowed in the U.K., France, Canada, Mexico, and Ireland, while 8K is the lowest in Greece.
