Wyatt I have a question. Why do crappy KZbin drummer's have companies and sponsors knocking down there doors for them. But yet a badass drummer like you and the other small but good KZbin drummer's don't? I'm curious to know because you deserve it when they do not⁉️🤷♂️ thank you.

@@Kieranh4424 Travis doesn’t produce it. John feldman does. But feldy is imo the best producer in the game and I’m sure Travis has a lot of influence in what happens along with his tasteful drumming.

The HHX Complex line is the truth. I have the Complex Thin Ride in 22", I use it as my ride, as well as my right crash for gigs. Really makes having a simplified setup much easier.
Thanks for the update on your kit Wyatt. Makes a lot of sense and helps with my own setup and equipment. Merry Christmas

The biggest props I can give to this is that you show that you don't need to have all of one brand cymbals to be "legit", sometimes I feel like people look bad on me for having a lot of different brands of cymbals. My sound doesn't have a brand
@drew_the_drummer4 жыл бұрын
Dude!! what a sweet drum kit. I love the sounds that come from everything you have right now man and love that you have used the Sabian HHX Complex thin ride. The complex line is what I'm gonna be switching to soon because they sound awesome. I also am using the Evans Onyx snare head too. I love your videos and you inspire me to try new styles and creat new creative playing when it comes to my covers on my channel. keep on playing and keep on inspiring people.

Always appreciate a good kit tour. Would have liked to have heard each piece as you talked about it 🤷♂️ I was surprised to see those two Trx's first 😂 I've been busy, but I kinda sorta remembered something semi recent with you and Meinl. Nice to be able to use whatever brand you want, though. I still love my Zildjian S 20 or 21" Rock ride.

You should check out some Istanbul Agop cymbals! They're the best cymbals I've ever played. My favorite line is the traditional dark, but I can see you using the Xist stuff and it happens to be their most budget-friendly line bc its not fully handmade like the rest of their lines; its partly machine-made and handmade BUT its still top quality and sounds great. IMO the Xist is what A customs wish they were haha
@heberluviano15843 жыл бұрын
@Aston totally. Agops are known but not known at the same time haha. Truly believe they're the best cymbals, sound so musical. Zildjian, Sabian, Meinl, and Paiste are def the big four. Used to love my Zildjians but now that I play Agops almost all cymbals sound gongy like to me, have harsh frequencies, or have a weird hum. I really like some of the meinl and paiste stuff though.
@heberluviano15843 жыл бұрын
@Aston yeah from when I first heard agops I was hooked for that same reason. Not to mention Agop has proper “light” cymbals. For ex. Zildjian K light rides are not even that light, they’re more like a medium. Yeah the whole scandal with the clap stack the trap stack is crazy! I understand having your own take on something, for ex all the 2 ply coated heads. Imagine it was just the original first 2 ply coated head? It’s good to have different options of it. Zildjian messed up in introducing it as if it were something completely new that they came up with.

Have you ever tried correcting your technique so you don't crack your Cymbals so much? I used to crack my Cymbals CONSTANTLY!! like every 6 months I would have to cut my crash cymbals up because I broke them. Then over time I had somebody discipline me on my technique, lowered my Cymbals and angled them in towards me a little bit then told me and taught me to sweep my sticks off of them. I haven't cracked a Cymbal in almost a year now.
@professorchaos34703 жыл бұрын
Agreed, stop hitting your cymbals like you're chopping firewood. Glancing blows dude.
@DrummerForJesusSabianAAX3 жыл бұрын
@@professorchaos3470 because I started using that technique I haven't cracked a Cymbal in WELL over a year now! It's a really good thing I chose to do that. I love my current Cymbals. I always say if you truly care about something in a truly means when you say it means to you, you would never mistreat it.
