maybe your skin type is different? For example your skin could be dryer/oily etc. So if it's dry, it's really beneficial to moisturise beforehand since for me personally I have dry skin, and I put on my skincare including a lot of sunscreen which helps a lot with sinking in my makeup products. And maybe you're applying a lot of product maybe? I used to wear foundation but now I just use concealer and it's worked really well for my skin and base! I'm not a makeup artist or anything but I just wanted to help you out :) Since I used to struggle with that problem too !

@@mar_0 thank you sooo much💜 idk why but whenever I do do my skincare my makeup turns out so bad😭 but idk why even without doing so my concealor turn out bad and I have to wipe it off and re apply it then it’s fine.

i had that exact same problem, instead now i do my skincare the night before i stead of the morning now or before doing my makeup. cause i had noticed that my products were messing with my makeup and making it patchy and cakey, and also match the foundations with primers like silicone with silicone and water with water yk? also don’t use foundation under your eye just use concealer
