Don’t think Tribbie is designed for HP-scaled units since the buffs she gives are completely based on her own HP, not the other unit’s HP. There is a difference. She needs to have HP requirement for her to gives the maximum buffs provided to all allies, the same way Ruan Mei needs 160% Break Effect for her skill to gives 68% DMG boost instead of 32% with no Break Effect%. So, she’s essentially The Herta’s dedicated support exactly like the leakers said and generalist buffers for literally anyone else. Just like Robin that can be slotted in any team even though her real purpose was for Follow-Up team.

The translation is misleading. There are some better TL posts. 1) HP scaling means that her damage and skills/buffs scale with HP, like Bailu's healing scaling with HP. It does NOT mean that she scales with ally HP or benefits higher HP characters in anyway. 2) Her ult is like Yunli in that it does AOE damage with additional hits. It also has a FuA like the scepter from UD (FuA when someone ults and regens energy). 3) Skill points > Eidolons. So her E0 is just normal support level damage but her higher eidolons, E6, has a damage buff that makes her a sub dps as well. 4) There was another part of the leak with a puzzle that had Kobe's photo on it. Non-basketball people seem to think this is just a generic basketball reference, like she dunks damage, but hoopers know that Kobe, RIP, is special. I think it actually means Tribbie is the Kobe to Robin's MJ. Heir to his airness if you will.

I have suspicions about Mydie. There has to be a caveat to his kit. Unless they are basing it upon his lore and making him broken, he’s definitely going to need another five star other than Tribbie in order to fully function, which makes me uninterested.

I personally think that they wouldn’t pull off that double healer with Mydei and Castorice because it would feel shitty to play. Now tribbie’s aa could be in her lc or they could have just trashed it, and would Mydei have some Hp healing like blade either in his base kit or in his lc?

If you think she’s only gonna have comparable buffs to robin even after having no aa in her kit that’s imo naive, hoyo isn’t the type to make new characters weaker and especially not a harmony

@@_Gabimaruig people have invested alot so may be in denial to hear that a newer better character is coming out. Though this doesnt mean that robin will be bad or not worth using. Its just that eventually they will release newer units that will replace older ones. This applies to harmony and nihility. Sure they have the longest lasting value but its not forever. As you said ruan meis value decreased ALOT. Despite having break in the game.

😂 Even Tribbie cannot save Sparkle. She instead making her own team that will always be better than Sparkle team. Tribbie who scale with hp and AoE buffer really bad to pair with sparkle who increase atk for the amount of quantum in the team. Sparkle now become jobless as no dps need her anymore 😂.

I mean, let's be honest, Mydei is a DPS character, Phainon is a DPS Character. Phainon releases like 3 patches after and he's Kevin. People have called him Hoyo's favorite son. You're not gonna Regret skipping Mydei. I doubt Phainon will be an HP based unit as well since we're getting so much of that with Mydei, Castorice etc. Similar to how Acheron broke everything, then Firefly broke everything in a different way. What works for Acheron has little to no synergy for Firefly.

@devika2545 If we're making connections to 2.x I'd say The Herta is Acheron(off meta/ meta of her own), Castorice is FF(main "new" meta that uses MC), and Phainon is probably Feixiao since he comes later in the summer. In the same way I'd say the last remembrance character, dark M7, is probably Fugue, aka replacement for RMC in 4.0. I guess that makes Mydei Boothill or Yunli-ish.

That’s like saying Robin got power creeped by Ruan Mei because Firefly doesn’t benefit from Robin’s buffs… what even is your point? 1 singular unit doesn’t use that character and that means they’re powercreeped… powercreep can only be attributed when characters fill the same role. Sunday is Sparkle powercreep at s1 because he does her job but better… even then you can put Sunday’s LC on Sparkle, it’s just that those insane amounts of sp can’t be used and Sunday is still better for e2 DHIL because of the buff uptime Tribbie and Sunday don’t fill the same role, especially if Tribbie doesn’t do AA

Tribbie seems more to be ruanmei powercrept, with fua.. coz tribbie cant speed boost/AA which sunday and robin have. but maybe ruanmei broken boost more, tribbie doing more all team FuA to add more stacks for the herta.. at E0 the leaker said the damage not that much (maybe like aventurine).. the leaker said “tribbie build for the herta, and could be useful for others too” coz these i believe maybe the damage/atk boost might not be more than other supports like robin/sunday, tribbie just more on the attack fua all enemies aspect that the herta needed.. sunday still better at hypercary summoner niche
