@@dazais4602if you have widsith r5 it will be the closest to his main weapon damage but only for 33% of the times, as widsith’s passive has 3 buffs (em buff, damage bonus buff and atk buff) and it randomly gives you 1 of the buffs after you change into the character holding widsith and in neuvillette’s case he likes the damage bonus buff, so if you get any of the other buffs it will be useless but if you get the damage bonus buff it will be almost as good as his main weapon.

Man, I feel like its been forever since Neuvillette first came out. I remember I was saving hard for the Furina as I really wanted all of the Archons. Had been saving since the Hu Tao Yelan banner in 3.4 so I had a ton saved but I was gonna go all in. Saw Neuvillette and was like neat, and thought nothing of it. Then I watched Zy0x first video. Literally like 1 minute in I paused the video and was like yep, im gonna go pull for this character. And now, Neuvillette is my only c6 character after playing since launch (I didnt c6 the first banner, but I got crazy lucky during his rerun, no whaling only welkin saving). Neuv is life and by far my favorite character playstyle wise and personality wise.

So if you can get early pity or lucky pull for C2, then it's really worth it. If you're in late/hard pity, then it's better to save for someone else. That's my opinion as F2P.

For those who are tempted to pull for c1 or weapon, don't worry if you can't or dont want to. My neuv c0 with sac jade with furina, kazuha and zhongli ( i have xilonen but he needs a shielder otherwise you're getting thrown around like paper) goes upto 52k per tick in a full rotation with zhongli on random artifacts as a shield bot. With xilonen I was able to reach around 64k per tick but I kept getting interrupted so I settled with zhongli. and if you still want to go for something go for c1 so that you can replace zhongli with xilonen or kachina and use all 3 stacks of draconic buff ( 1 from c1) instead of only 2 in my case. Easily 36 starred this abyss thanks to neuv water pumping in the first half so fast that my second team had a whole 2 min to clear stuff lol

I decided to use my guarantee pull for his C1 instead of Mavuika. And it's definitely worth it! His self healing can definitely tank almost everything. I really want to pull for Mavuika but I'm a bit disappointed she's being compared with Xiangling and to be main DPS she needs Xilonen so much and I didn't get Xilonen yet.. meanwhile, i already have Furina. So kinda no brainer to me to choose honestly. And umm although i still have quite a lot of primogems, my target is shifting to get Jade Cutter after losing 50/50 to it since game release on every single banner it pop up. So ya. Glad i pull for C1 Nuvi and i can see myself pull for him again later and slowly but surely be one of my future C6R5 character!

Tip : his high damage heavily depends on a perfect rotation. I've tried many and the best i settled is below ( with furina, kazuha and zhongli/xilonen) : Neuv E -> furina E -> zhongli hold E/ xilonen E -> furina Q -> kazuha E or Q -> neuv CA -> neuv E -> neuv CA -> neuv Q -> furina E -> zhongli/ xilonen skill -> furina Q -> kazuha E/Q and the then keep doing the same. If you see dipped numbers during Neuv first CA, quickly swap to kazuha and do his skill to apply the buff and shred and then continue with the 2nd neuv CA. imo its the best rotation since you get almost the full duration of furina buff, you get 2 stacks of draconic buff from swirl and crystallize and full buff time for kazuha buff and vv shred as well as xilonens and zhonglis. In this team you can use hp goblet since you get more than enough dmg% from furina and kazuha and xilonen if you have her

I'm not convinced that a 2 CA rotation is optimal. This is a 20s rotation because of Furina, going for 4 CA 30s should be much better, even if you don't receive Furina buff during the last CA. I can recommend Neuv E > Furina E > Xilo E Q > Kaz (E) Q > Furina Q > Neuv CECQ > Xilo E > Kaz E > Neuv 2C > repeat With Zhongli just hE collect shard during the first part and only collect shard during second part. If no shard spawned close to you bc the enemy moved from the pillar, just skip his second part.

Another case for why hp% goblet can be better than hydro is the fact that it just makes your neuvillette more tanky in both overworld content and abyss, allowing for a minimum of 40k hp (assumming decent subs), which can allow for more survivibility in cases where the enemies deal a lot of damage
