Another archon added to the collection... 🔥 This took WAY too long... Mavuika has so many combos and teams it drove me crazy. Sorry for the longer delay than usual, I feel bad about that, but a lot of time & effort went into this guide, and I will try to expedite the process in the future. Mavuika is great when played optimally, so I hope the guide helps! Edit: Earth Shaker can be a viable f2p option if Mavuika is played as a Support (Tidal Shadow is more general). If you don't have Xilonen and your using Kachina instead to bulld up Fighting sprint. It's faster to use her full Pogo hop, burst and full Pogo hop again. Every time I've done it this way. I've built up her burst a lot faster than just, using Kachinas skill then immediately switching.

Actually, on 12:42 you don't need to use her e at start of rotation since it'll ruin the elemental reaction of Citlali. The 4pc effect actually works even without using elemental skill at start of rotation. It works from me the moment Mavuika use burst, I immediately get the 40% cr.

Ganyu is a great option too if you don’t have Citlani. In most cases, she’s even better than Rosaria because of her larger AoE. To get the most out of her, you can equip the Instructor set to boost Mavuika’s damage. I use this team, and it’s been working really well: Mavuika, Xilonen, Bennett, and Ganyu (Favonius Bow + Instructor). I also get almost guaranteed Melt reactions on her burst and 2-3 Melts on her charged attacks.

Had stop right Fountaine came out due to not being able to run the game anymore on laptop - fast forward Xmas 2024 I got an epic deal on a PS5 and even though I had to figure out how tf to play on console I was able to grind and managed to get her, signature weapon AND Citali + her signature weapon. I have a c1 Arle as a f2p and mavuika without gearing her up yet, using a lvl 50 weapon, no goblet and level 6 talents did more damage than my arlecchino who's been carrying me since I got her. Although I must say my Arlecchino is more reliable as it was in the imaginarium theatre and mavuika charged her burst too slow for me to burst the enemy in under the needed time while my arlecchino had constant high dps. But when I gear her up and knowing the proper combos, i'm sure I can make her work. I even pulled citlali too because I love her but I'm glad she's a grade A support for mavuika.

12:42 you actually still get the Obsidian Codex 4-pc set effect just by using Mauvika's burst, even if you never used her skill at the start of the rotation. Her burst gives her 10 Nightsoul Points and she enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state, and I suspect some of those 10 points are consumed during her burst animation.

Mavuika can actually trigger Obsidian codex's passive without using her elemental skill. Using her E might ruin your rotation specially with melt. Not sure why but it works haha

That weapon is good NGL but you have to make a great ratio of CR% and CD% But in my opinion I think Akuoumaru weapon is better if your team have the right amount of ER% especially with weapon refinements because It gives a better Elemental Burst DMG BONUS%

My C4 Mona somehow doing a great job to replace Citlali for Mavuika, was testing with other hydro and cryo characters but Mona came out as the most decent one for me. C1 Mona gave +15% Vaporize damage (and Omen already gave +60%) and C4 increase Mavuika's Crit Rate by 15% during Omen duration btw, so the Sunfell Slice and the next 3-4 vape hits will always 100% crit even though Mavuika only has 45% crit rate (+40% more from codex set), and Mona can also use TTDS.

For Mavuika’s weapon, how does Luxurious Sea Lord (the fish sword) compare to the others? It has a low base attack of 454 but 55.1% atk at lvl 90. And it has an effect that boosts burst dmg by 24% at r5. It seems like a decent weapon for enhancing Mavuika’s nukes

Character in the next patch is going to be on Standard Banner. 10 weeks is 70 Wishes on Welkin alone. You will get enough to pull a future unit you may really want.

As you need a bow user for aeonblight Drake Mavuika’s damage is ultra high sure But using Ganyy’s charge attack which still does good damage being buffed by Xilonen, Bennett and Mavuika allowing you to melt it Basically means during Mavuika’s downtime if anything survives. You have a decent non negligible source of damage. And also you can clear whatever minor hp pool your enemy has left after Mavuika’s rotation and save all your bursts for the next chamber

If you are actually using Mavuika for support from her E you should use the scroll set. If you already have a scroll set user then Golden Troupe is actually better for a pure support Mavuika. Because she is so strong I don’t recommend using her as an off field support but the Natlan DPS set is completely useless for an off field support unit. Her E does a lot of damage and Golden Troupe will really ramp the damage from her off field hits.

I looked at how annoying this Abyss was and decided I’d run Mavuika on field the next Abyss lol. I cleared Abyss with both Chasca and Kinich on side 2 running Mavuika as a Sub DPS/Support and it worked very well

I will say if you have her sig and an attack sands benny is still great but none benny team feels real nice too. My Mav sits at around 3.2k attack while e is active without ttds or other buffs. fav team for this current abyss was navia xilonen mavuika furina first half but even with like xilonen kazu citlali (all c0) i managed to hit over a mil without benny, my highest abyss hit so far was withh benny (1.3m) but if the other team wants him she’ll still be fine
