Ok so I tried it last night It stayed all day in the super hot and wet weather of my island It survived then a 8 hours flight Also stayed when I had to run across the city after it Had a nap on it and headbang session on huge deathstep Now I'm about to sleep again and this shit is still almost flawless. No need to say it works perfectly on me. This is pure hair engineering, thank you soo much!

This headband trick is amazing. This has dramatically changed by hair routine, for the better! I can't believe how effective it is, after having tried everything, literally everything. My hair is thick and frizzy and nothing worked until now. I do dampen the mid to ends of my hair, which I note is not required in the video, but works for me. Also, I sleep with headbands, given my hair is damp, but wake up every morning with lovely, soft curls. In fact, everyone keeps asking me where I got my hair done, because it looks like it has been done professionally! Have to try it to believe it.

Flannel Acres im sorry if I seem dumb asking this but why does two head bands give less knots than one head band??

Ana Araújo because when you get to the back, you wrap a little past the halfway point, which is hard to do once you wrap the second side back that far. I hope that makes sense. Not a dumb question at all! 😊

How do you make them stay without it being damp before your put it in the headbands (and then being allowed to dry) or at least putting some mousse or gel in it? Does your hair hold a curl easy? Mine doesn't and I think if I did that with dry hair, especially if I didnt leave it in for a long time, it would fall out right away!
@Auniesauce8 жыл бұрын
Anna P Hi Anna! You could try mousse or gel... I have never had a problem with it. You could also slide a couple bobby pins in if that would help. If I sleep with it like this, I'll wrap a silk scarf around my head so it doesn't fall out

Oh my days - I cannot believe this worked on my hair. I have super straight, thin hair. Plus, I'm terrible at doing hair, I could even do a ponytail wonky. I tried it after washing my hair whilst it was still slightly damp. Left in for 2 hours and ended up with big, bouncy curls. Unfortunately. It didn't dry so the curls probably won't stay in all day, but I will definitely do it again. It was slightly frizzy (where the headband had been) on taking it out but brushing through with my fingers and smoothing with serum solved it. Thanks so much.

Yep! My only issue is I have trouble sleeping in those if I wear it overnight.

So I recently trimmed my hair to right above my breast slope area. I did this at night after washing my hair. I let it air dry and combed it out. The top of my head was semidry and the ends were lightly dampish. I sprayed Not Your Mothers Sea Salt spray in it. Wrapped it overnight and woke up with really wavy hair. It was my first time so my wrapping was a little messy.I unwrapped in the early morning The waves lasted all day. I really like this method and I bet after a few more times I will master the wrapping. Thank you for sharing!! Found a great way to curl my hair without frying it.

If you want a little more volume at the top you can tug on your crown a bit so that it does stay flat while you sleep on it:) instead it'll dry with more volume! Loveeeeee the vi del clear straight to the point and simple!

Love this video. I have wavy hair that I straighten and have now lost my natural curl... Will this work on wet hair as im trying to stay away from heat completely or should i let it air dry a bit first.
@Auniesauce7 жыл бұрын
I always let mine air dry first. Mine won't dry and then goes back to straight if I try to do this while wet/damp

Ok so mine worked when I tried it last night... but only on one side. My right side looks great but the hair on my left side fell out of the headband. I’m going to try it again rn because it worked on one side and that would kinda look weird. Thanks so much though because it actually worked for me! ❤️

Thank you for letting me know! One side of my head doesn't hold curl as well as the other--go figure! Hopefully the second time is a charm!

By far the perfect loose curls, love this! Was your hair completely dry when you wrapped it? If so I’m shocked the curl held after only 45 mins

Yep! And thank you. Personally, my hair won’t dry if I do it like that and it’s wet. I think my fine straight hair just really likes this style

Omg thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm bad with hair, and I prefer to do no heat styles most of the time! I did the robe trick for long hair and it created stunning curls then I got my hair cut so I'm giving this a try! 😍
