Is archaludon worth bringing to Birmingham? I’ve been playing the deck for ages and it seems okay, any further thoughts after the video bearing in mind how well the deck is doing in online tournaments?

@@BenAtStudioTen it’s definitely been underestimated overall, if you feel confident in it and think it’s good enough then go for it. I do think it’ll be better in a budew world but it has a bit of merit still

i think you did archaludon dirty xd, it's really good almost vs everything, + the small core makes you comfortable inserting some splash to counter your worst matchup, ironically raging bolt it's not really that difficult for archaludon like at all, you are generally as fast as he is, and archaludon can 1 tap ogerpon and other things, if you really know hoe to play this deck is actually good and consistent (i tested it 150 games more or less)

It has ONE Top 32 out of 5 events in the Surging Sparks metagame so far. More than enough time to prove itself. Maybe it'll do better this weekend after its win in Japan but so far no matter how much you have tested a deck, it doesn't have the results and the tier list is based on hard data from 5 major tournaments all over the world.

@@tablemon well for sure 150 games are barely anything i know, but really looks like people were sleeping on this until osaka, so we will see with a more consistent population of players what he can do

@ i do expect it to perform and surprise in the next 3 events before budew but I try to use hard data for tier lists and so far archaludon hasn’t done well. I also put iron thorns in tier c before worlds and it won, so I’m happy to be wrong and acknowledge and it’s not like this tier list determines anything at the event
