UPDATED Seamless Coop WITH MODS Tutorial | Shadow of Erdtree Multiplayer WITH MODS! | Elden Ring

Just figured out how to get the mod launcher to launch both seamless and a randomizer. Seamless: Do everything the video says, but make sure to copy the contents of the Seamless Coop file (the esrc.dll, settings, and locale file) and paste them inside the "ModEngine2" folder you created earlier. Next, open the elden ring config tolm file and locate the section where it ask you to type out any external dlls you'll be using. in that section, add "ersc.dll". it should look like this: external_dlls - ["ersc.dll"] this is what i did and after launching elden ring through the mod launcher it loaded seamless coop successfully. For Randomizer + Coop: I simply copied and pasted the contents of the "randomizer" folder into the "mod" folder located inside the "ModEngine2" folder we created earlier. *MAKE SURE TO COPY AND PASTE ALL FILES* after this, randomize your seed and if done correctly when you launch your elden ring through mod loader it should have both seamless and randomizer active. if that doesn't work, i'll double check what i did later and add an update.

didnt get this to work, but found a reddit where i followed the advice and got it to work: you go intop the same elden ring config tolm and in external dlls whrite the path to the ersc.dll in your gasme folder, so: "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll" this is what worked for me, hope it helps. if you do this, mod loader is not required at all, and it even worked with me using vortex to deploy seamless, just make sure its deployed when u launch elden ring trought the mod loader launcher. also you dont need to put any seamless files in modloader2 mod folder.

If Mod Engine isn't loading Seamless Co-op go to mod engine config, there's a dll section that let's you add and load dlls. Install seamless co-op as intended and add the dll with dll's path. If it's not working, varify integrity files from steam, make a back up of your mods and at first only install Seamless Co-op. Then install other mods. DEN Maps is now updated. You can just use Denmaps instead.

@@africanchild5932 In your Mod Engine folder there's a configuration file with ".tmol" (or something similar) . Open it with notepad, there's a section called add external dlls. There's a text that tells you exactly how to add dlls but basically you want to write down the location of a dll. Putting Seamless co-op files in Mod loader used to work but now for some reason you have to mamually tell Modengine.

we couldn't get the randomizer to work with seamless until we tried this the seamless coop files that you add to the mod folder in the base game folder, add them to the 'modengine2' folder (aswell as the base 'mods' folder from the video) and also add "ersc.dll" to the external dll part of the elden ring config .toml file in 'modengine2' folder. this worked for us :)

Completely shut down steam, in task manager too and reopen again. Also sometimes Elden Ring runs in task manager even when it's not running the game. Make sure that's not the case.

Elden Ring Mod Loader is not needed. Mod Engine 2 has been able to run DLLs for a while now.

Maybe useful note: Put the path with the ersc .dll with double slashes "\\" E.G "E:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll" nearly one to one like on the video. This doesn't work: "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ELDEN RING\Game\SeamlessCoop\ersc.dll". This is apparently because a double "\\" is interpreted as a single "\" whereas the single is not, if not then idk.

Some helpful tips if you already have/had seamless and mods : Tip 1 = Delete old seamless coop "seamlesscoopsettings" and "eldin_ring_seamless_coop.dll" from Eldin game files, mod folder in Eldin game files; basically anywhere else they may be (these resulting in error 1.5.1) \ Tip 2 = You need to fix external_dlls in "config_eldinring.toml" , ex. external_dlls = ["E:\\SteamLibrary\\steamapps\\common\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\SeamlessCoop\\ersc.dll"] . That allowed me to load via "launchmod_eldinring" with seamless and mods. Otherwise I was just able to load with seamless. I also put "ersc_settings" and "Erse.dll" in modengine2 folder (though idk if that actually did anything I never had them there in the OG seamless and it work.

you dont load the game from steam you just need to have steam opened and logged in. for the save you have to type %AppData%/EldenRing in the File Explorer then find the file that has random number and find the file .sl2 and copy it and rename it .co2 then you should have all your saves.

hey my friend issued that the game is perma crashing (not right at the start but 2-10 mins in) with the coop mod. do u have any ideas on what the cause could be?

i dont have dinput8.dll in my game folder, how can i find it or can i remove mod without it?

the dll is in Mod loader's files. drag it in game folder.
