I was a victim of cheating after being in a relationship for 12 years and I just want to throw out a big thank you to Apple and Samsung for their tracking abilities and recording abilities. You guys are keeping cops at Bay and people safe in court from cheaters and liars.

Story 1: It's remarkable how cheaters all seem to follow the exact same flowchart of cheater responses when they are confronted with their infidelity. First they lie and deny, then when the lying and denying doesn't work they admit to something minor and call it a small mistake and usually blame alcohol, then they gaslight and go on the offensive and try to turn it around on the victim. Always DARVO or a variation thereof. Then they tend to alternate between apologizing/begging for forgiveness and calling the victim every single nasty thing they can think of. Then they recruit friends and family to make the victim forgive, or if that doesn't work, to attack the victim.

I think these are the stories that tend to be reported more. Get more traction. Elicit more emotions and drama. I've met cheaters in real life who have taken accountability in much healthier ways. I think a lot of it has to do with self preservation.

In 2007 I found some coworker of my husband was giving him the whole touching of the forearm, laughing so loud at his jokes and expediting my husband's work orders etc. well my husbands other male coworkers started teasing him and I over heard. He said no she doesn't ewww she's not my type and I am married. So I made one of the coworkers point her out. I went to the company's Xmas party. This moron had the nerve to grab his forearm so I walked over and pinched the top of her hand and said TOUCH HIM AGAIN AND ILL BREAK UR FACE. The look 😶on her face was priceless. Every female in my husband's dept knew not to mess or touch him. I don't play.

Story 2, it's bad enough that your parent prioritize your other siblings, but even went as far as proritizing other family members and friends like shopping and flight ticket over their own flesh and blood is mind blowing. You're not even treated as step or adopted child, it's far worse like you're not even related in any way.

S1, there might not be another guy at the bar. She could be lying about it, an excuse to not come clean about her long time affair with his friend.

For story 2, I’m curious about what the rest of the family has to say. Something is not adding up here. If she wasn’t taken on the trip to Hawaii, where did she stay? She was a minor and it would’ve been illegal to leave her alone for an extended period of time. Also, she said she’s been financially, taken care of her entire life, and basically had all of her needs and expenses taken care of along with a generous allowance. Of course, the grandmother stepped in to help her. One thing that I’ve noticed is that grandparents are known to spoil grandchildren. My sister-in-law stepdaughter got pregnant at the age of 13 and because of it she was not allowed to go on vacation with the family. Of course, when she complained, she left that part out. This story has huge victim hood mentality. And she’s leaving out anything that she could’ve possibly done herself.
