Warning!!! Since OBS v28 came out and Streamerbot updated to use Websocket v5 - Many custom build tricks in streamerbot ONLY work with v4.9 websocket.
For this to work on OBS v28+, right now, you need to use websocket v4.9 compat. github.com/obs...
ALSO, you must have Streamerbot and OBS connected with websocket v.4.9 BEFORE you import the code for this trick. If you swap to v4.9 AFTER you imported the code, it might not work. Delete the subaction and start over once you have OBS connected with v4.9.

great vid! do you know if it would be possible to do this with sounds aswell? pretty new to streamerbot and have been looking for something that can play a random sound as channelpoint redemption.

Yep, anything that works as a media file in OBS will work. Gifs, audio, video, etc..

Yes. Just add a hotkey under the trigger section.

Great vod i have a question if i go back to websocket v4.9 what apps will be affected besides OBS and Streamerbot i use Snapcam, Streamdeck , Voicemod among others will they be affected if i change to websocked v4.9 i hope you understand what i'm trying to say

You can use both websockets at the same time, just choose different ports. But I suspect they will all still work with websocket 4.9 if you want to test.

Is it possible to have 2 folders to chose random videos from based off the trigger?

You can do this by setting up two actions for random videos one pointing to each folder. Then create a new action that is set to random. Add both sub actions for each random video folder to the action set to random. This will in effect randomly choose to update the source from either sub action attached to the different folders.

I get that this export (import codes) is too old for the version I have of stream bot :/
