Thank you so much for your tutorials, you are a doll and so pretty. I'm so proud to see all of these natural hair styles and especially short ones, because my hair was too long down my back and it was too much to deal with everyday, so I started putting it up in ponytails, to buns, and I started mistreating my hair so much, but now that these pixie hair cuts and just natural hair cuts are back, I'm soooooo happy!!! I've racked up on so many different products, and haven't had the time to even try them all, but the main thing is I can play around and see which ones work and don't. Sorry if the message is long, I just really really love the new hair natural styles and can keep my hair cut until I feel like a different style. I would suggest that you try a all natural product line like Camilla Rose Gel, Kinky Curly Curling Custard and KnotsToday Leave In etc. Their are so many great all natural curl line products. I have embraced my natural curly hair (since 2009) and I just “Big Chopped” my hair again. I only use natural products on my beautiful curls. I’m glad that you are loving your curls.

Hey Gurl, you're such a sweetie and your video is awesome, so very informative. I just love how your explanations are so detailed. You start the reasons for your actions. ex: "one needs to thoroughly moisturizer their hair with condition B4 applying gel; to avoid dryness". I wasn't getting optimal results because I didn't use enough conditioner and too much gel. The end result was dry frizzy sticy hard hair. It would be hit or miss, and my hair growth was extremely slow. Loved hearing how much you hair has grown when you least expected. Can't wait till change my products and hair routines, to see what results I get. Keep up your awesome advice, loving it 💝

Great vid and advice. Question: for years I wore a short blonde relaxed cut. Super cute and effortlessly shiny. Suddenly about 3-4 years ago my hair was ALWAYS dull dry brittle and wouldn’t hold styles well. I eventually began to just keep it clean and moisturized and covered up. Dec 2018 I did a big chop. I’m natural and loving the curls. HOWEVER I feel like if I flat iron or curl my hair or even relax it the problem would still exist. Any advice on how to get my hair to shine again? Thx

Sounds like between the relaxing and the coloring, your hair was stripped of protein. I'd recommend some treatments, and to make sure the coloring products you're using are quality.

Eco gel for me or feels like silk gel....no achohol so it does not dry out your hair but adds shine

Yeah 4c hair is mostly dry because it coils a lot....The key is keeping it moisturise.... 1) Deep condition once a month with a good conditioner or do hot oil treatment, 2) get a good leave in conditioner, 3) sleep with your hair tye the pillows dry out your hair n break it...... 4) get a good hair oil(e.g coconut oil, avacado oil etc) or I simply use Indian hemp to grease my scalp once in a while...
