Excellent video! I’ve been using Blood Artisan’s Cuirass since Season 2, back when it was crap (before it scaled with max life). It let me speed clear tier 60-70 nightmare dungeons while the build I wanted to run was broken (reapers weren’t spawning corpses) Sometime between S3 and S4, BAC started scaling with max life and I started running “River of the Dead” creating blood orbs via Army of the Dead + Black River corpse explosion, then gathering them through gore quills + blood lance. I was dejected with some S5 nerfs, but Lord Saura helped me get back on my feet and got me to keep trying to make what eventually turned into spirit wave.

My thoughts on Mendeln: The ring base dmg is %weapon dmg. Then you get all the dmg multipliers. You'll want to get skirmishers for the crit bonus (FINALLY USABLE). Every minion will be slapping every 6th hit. Way better AOE clear compared to last season. Stack every general + dmg/ minion multiplier/ get as close to 200% attack speed as possible with attack speed buckets. My prediction is its gonna be absolutely nasty AOE and single target however still slowish moving but best afk clear ever. personally going soul rift for easy survivability and to get some lucky hit out of the build over army of the dead but might switch back and forth idk.

Is the single damage number higher for overpower bone spirit or for blood wave spirit ?

Boner splinters is far less clunky to play with 1/5th the gear requirement of Bone spirit and you just read it like they were the exact opposite build. Blood wave requires better gear to even play with than Nova. I am just going to push Reap as far as I can than roll a Sever Necro too.

Will a shield ever be a good item to use for a necro this upcoming season?

Depends on your priorities. You'll get less dmg output but greater survivability. You can get DR rolls on shields and defensive stats which are nice if you're having difficulty surviving. Some of the utility aspects are nice for minion necros. Not a horrible trade off if you're taking offensive armor uniques.

@@MangoHero247 nah ~ BiS for Boss is 100% Crit - Overpower-Auto Bone Spirit . its strong because the build only have Bone Spirit , it dont have movement or AoE . Blood Spirit is more Overall content and yes , tier 100 pit + boss

Hi, I'm replying on my personal rather than on the goblin Inc account. Unmaker did get changes to lose ranks in soulrift which hurts, but it got back %chance for soulrift to deal double damage which directly scales the unmaker proc. This lets you trade your weapon over to a doombringer. The end result is about the same amount of damage but you lose out on the cool down reduction. Overall it's a slight nerf but it's easily worked around

Funny I heard in another video it is NOT going well for them at all. BS builds drain mana in 1 hit and then you are screwed I tried it in 5 and it was HORRIBLE

if they were trying the old tech of using Crown of Lucion and Banished Lord's Talisman, that likely won't work anymore due to the Starlight nerf, but the new build guide isn't using that
