YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON TOEVER SAY THAT! MY HAIR DIESNT LIKE PRODUCT WHEN ITS SOAKING WET IT LIKES DAMP TO DRY AND IT TAKES PRODUCT BETTER THAT WAY! WHY IS THAT
@akeciajames7314 жыл бұрын
My entry: This time last year right before the pandemic, I was a sophomore in college and had been natural for almost 5 years and while I was retaining length, it was very dry and I still felt very clueless ab being natural. I stumbled across your “why your natural hair isn’t flourishing” video and I got tons of helpful tips on my hair type and porosity but the most important thing: I learned that I was supposed to be deep conditioning!! I incorporated that into my routine and began to see a MAJOR difference! I started to see an actual curl pattern in my hair! My hair was more moisturized in general and a lot more healthy! Thank you so much for your content!

My entry: omg I don’t know where to start. I started my natural hair journey two years ago. I had no idea what I was doing and kept watching yt when I finally stumbled on your videos. I remember I watched your first wash day video and I was literally so glad that I finally saw someone with a similar hair pattern as me. One thing I most learned through ur videos was applying my products while my hair is damp and ALWAYS spraying water on my hair cus my hair dries up fast and DEEP CONDITIONING. I learned the raking method where I keep raking my products continuously in smaller sections. Not just ur wash day videos. Ur head wrap video was amazing. I literally use a tee shirt, wrap my hair n go out. I continuously come back to ur Chanel to see what updated products u use during your wash days; specifically for leave in and Normal conditioner but unfortunately, I can’t afford them so I look for something cheaper and similar. Overall, you hv been a big influence in my hair journey. Thank you

lord where do i start i started my natural hair journey in 8th grade i was extremely self conscious as i go to a PWI for school and never really saw curly hair and when i did it was definitely your go to 3a-3c “good hair” i never was permed or anything but my hair was extremely dry so it was always ear-length that led me to believe i was 4c. i would go on youtube and try to look up wash and go’s and how to define my curls but instead of learning the techniques i would idolize their hair and be extremely disappointed when mine didn’t turn out like theirs. i feel like that’s one of the biggest reasons i wasn’t seeing the growth i wanted in my hair i would over manipulate my curls in attempt to look like looser textures. i was seriously ready to just go back to braids strictly until i came across your natural hair journey video CHANGED MY WHOLE LIFE. i had finally found my hair twin i had never seen someone with my hair texture achieve your length. You taught me that type 4 CAN do a wash and go and still embrace our coils. (you also taught me how to moisturize my hair because i genuinely thought i was 4c) you put me on to products that actually worked for our hair type and you changed my whole attitude towards my hair. and the more i wore my hair around school girls in younger grades began to do the same and i also put them on to your channel. my hair is such a big part of what makes me me and i’m just so glad i found your channel❤️❤️❤️

Hey Steph!!! Your channel has helped me in so many ways. I went natural in march of this year after straightening my hair for all my life and you were the first person that I found that had a similar hair type to mine which I was so grateful for. All of your hair recommendations have been great and helped me learn to love my hair once I found the right products for it. Thank you so much I love channel!

I’m so glad to see hair that ACTUALLY looks like mine & products that moisturize and have 4 curls poppin 💓😁. I’ve just started my hair care journey so I’m definitely a new subbie ☺️

So pretty. I am spending this Saturday morning watching hair videos 🥰. I could watch them all day! “Black girl hair” conditioning treatments are kind of mesmerizing. 😮 I love the “juicy” defined curls. Looks exhausting to do, but honestly, so satisfying to watch. I’m learning (at 62!) how to take care of my low-porosity straight-ish gray hair and grow it long and healthy. - for the first time. So fun and rewarding. I love curly hair, but learning to love my slight waves too. Your beautiful, bouncy curls are really lovely. ❤

You were the first youtuber I starting watching after my big chop because we have similar hair types and you've helped me so much with learning what products to use and how to have a proper wash day!

Hey sis! You’re hair looks bomb. I initially subscribe to your channel because of your friendly demeanour and genuine disposition. It was even more evident when you would reply to all your comments including mine. Which is something so huge because not a lot of KZbinr do that anymore. We also have a similar hair type, and a lot of the combinations you use for your wash and go’s are ones that I enjoy myself. I just love you channel! Keep it up sis. You have such a bright KZbin future!❣️

you channel has taught me tips to better my hair routine based off of my porosity and you introduced me to techniques to improve on my mositurization which made a huge difference on how my hair feels. Thank you!

I’ve been natural over 6 years and I’ve always stayed away from wash n go’s because I have really small coils so it is a nightmare to wash it when it gets old but I also never had great combos either. I tried using one of your combos last year and it was an amazing wash n go. I still dislike detangling/washing my hair after but I trust the combos you have recommended and your reasoning for each product in your steps.

Your channel has helped me to achieve THEE BEST wash & gos! We have the same exact hair type and texture, && I love how you stay consistent with the products you use and not using 30+ products whenever you do your hair, and that has helped me a lot to stay consistent and keep a routine! Your videos showed me that us girls with 4C hair does indeed have curls AND we can rock bomb wash & go’s!...I love your channel, & you have such a sweet spirit!♥️

Honestly your channel just taught me alot. Actually found it a little over a year ago and following some of your steps and routines helped me grow my hair longer than it has ever been and it is sooo healthy now. I also learnt a whole lot about what works for my hair, how to handle it and what makes it look best. I am honestly just so lucky and greatful to have found it in the first place. Thanks a lot and blessings to you. P.S my flag is on your shirt lol

I watch your videos because we have similar hair types and you do a great job at reviewing products.I pretty much always know what will work on my hair and now I know how to moisturize. I love watching, you are so real and I wish you uploaded more often.

Your hair looks so moisturized! I needed this. I am starting my journey of taking better care of my hair instead of braiding it up and throwing a wig on all the time. This was super helpful!

Entry: To be completely honest, your page popped up on my recommended! Although I don't have type 4 hair all through my hair, I have 3c/4a and I always love to see what works for people and what doesn't. I am so happy that I clicked on this video to see that you're doing a JelloShot giveaway (which I've been meaning to try out) and maybe I'll have a chance to do so. I may be a new subscriber but from this video alone, you will become a favorite channel of mine. Happy New Year and I hope there's growth for us all (not just mentally but actual inches on our heads lol)

I absolutely loooove watching your videos ever since I realized my porosity and saw how similar our curl patterns are. As someone in grad school, you’ve made me realize that I can still be a student and have BOMB healthy hair 😍 Thank you so much for all of your tips, tricks, and authenticity. Forever tapped in ❤️🤞🏾

We have the same hair type but I got heat damage and my mom won’t let me go natural. Helpp she thinks I have the “Bad hair” any tips? Your channel has helped me because it has brown my hair and you have helped my hair flourish more into the journey from the heat damage I have so the products from the giveaway would be really useful for me

A GIVEAWAY! YES! I originally started watching your channel because your hair is gorgeous. I have a slight obsession with all things 'natural hair' related, and I love learning how to take care of all types of textures (so I can teach my family members and friends!) As a type 4 hair girl as well, you have given me so many tips and ideas that have helped my hair although we have different porosities and densities. Regardless, I will continue to support your channel and tell others about it as I have already done in the past. Please keep the videos coming! Much love💗
