Another really important thing to mention, which I feel you may have missed out.. SO many people use hair pieces or hair extensions. Pinterest girls and celebrities. Pamela Anderson had hair extensions. Jennifer Anniston had them when she had that super long hair, but now stated she only uses hair pieces for fullness. Those perfect hairstyles we often see, are not achievable for the majority without a little bit of help. Love this video ❤

Celebrities, I understand. I just recently watched a TikTok claiming that Sabrina Carpenter’s hair is actually just extensions. It does make sense because her hair didn’t look the way it does now, in comparison to when she was a child. So, I get it…celebrities clearly are different than us. They have more money and resources than we will ever have. It’s when I get to KZbin and see “regular” girls with great hair that I start thinking maybe if I do all of what they’re doing that my hair will at the very least look better. I enter a state of literal delusion. I try so hard to tell myself KZbin has changed in the last ten/15 years. What you see from these “regular” people is not reality. But, it still doesn’t help. I’m not trying to hate on these hair girlies for just existing. If I had good hair, I would show it off too. I would want to share my “secrets” with people as well. But, these girls, man. Sometimes, they hurt my soul. 🤣 I see the same thing in other places like Reddit or TikTok. These “regular” girls showing their amazing hair. Celebrities, I don’t care. I can separate the delusion from reality. These girls, I don’t know what happens to my brain.

Yes!! I follow a small-ish youtuber that was formerly mostly makeup content and she looks so flawless and her hair is so smooth and full but I have to remind myself she's wearing extensions and a lot of that hair is fake and highly styled. Without makeup and extensions she looks like a regular girl with fine bleached hair you'd see at the grocery store lol.

I know a girl who has the most perfect hair every single day. Why? Because she washes and heat styles it daily. Blowdries it with a very powerful blowdryer on the hot setting and uses a curling iron. Her ends get murdered by this and she periodically gets trims. It helps that she has good hair genetics but she didn't get the glossy hair sleeping with coconut oil on her head, she got it from styling it flawlessly. Haircare has its place for preserving the ends to grow long hair but it won't change the texture

The thing is, if I did that to my hair, it would be fried as hell and look it too. So you most definitely need the kind of hair that can withstand that kind of thing to begin with.

The thing is, I literally NEVER see that kind of perfect hair out in the wild. The next time you go outside, just to the store or to school/work whatnot, look at people's hair. You'll find that that kind of hair is rare if not nonexistent. Even the people with naturally beautiful, frizz free hair usually don't have that hair you see online or on celebrities. I hate heat styling and all of those elaborate hair care routines are also too much, so I do the minimum I can get away with. I also keep it medium length which is easier to deal with as the ends don't get as dry and it's just easier to wash and, if I do it, style, less hair. It saves me a lot of stress and money and I wouldn't have THAT hair anyway no matter what. The only way to get it would be to go the route of extensions to bulk it up and Keratin/Brazilian blow outs. And that stuff is expensive and could just leave me with worse (fried) hair down the line. Btw, I think your hair is BEAUTIFUL even though it's not "glass hair". AND you have absolutely amazing natural nails, which some people cannot seem to grow no matter what they do either.

Yep, I’ve only known a couple of people with hair like that and their hair really only looked like that sometimes (probably like the day after washing and thoroughly heat styling) and a lot of the time their hair just looked like anyone else’s.

I've definitely seen hair like this out in the wild. Several times. Two girls are people I went to school with for 6 years, their hair definitely looked like this allll the time. It was a weird day if their hair wasn't perfect, and it happened maybe once or twice to both of them in those 6 years. And we were kids, so there's no way they were sporting extensions, not to mention I used to interact with their hair to practice braiding and I definitely would've noticed any extensions. Another girl was Middle Eastern so she genetically had super thick and dense hair including her eyelashes and brows. Perfect hair always, nothing could make it wild. She had like 2 flyaways and that's it lol. Blunt cuts and probably great haircare because she never had split or dry ends, but I never asked her for a routine. Obvious overnight curls on occasion, her hair was naturally straight when she didn't do anything to it. I don't think she used heat, but idk Another girl in high school who was Vietnamese, she had hip length hair and did nothing to take care of it. It was clear from her outward appearance and presentation that she didn't have the best maintenance routines for her skin, nails, or clothing, yet her hair was just flawless (sometimes greasy bc of not washing). She even said the only reason her hair was too long is because she was lazy to cut it. When I saw the girls like this on tiktok it was normal to me because I've seen it multiple times irl. It's unrealistic for everyone, but it's not impossible. For some, it's not even a lot of effort to have hair like that. I doubt any of the girls I know even spent over 50 dollars a month on haircare. The only thing I think they all have in common is extremely minimal heat styling and completely virgin hair.

@@бронза.вафля.конус To be fair, I said "RARE if not nonexistent". Isabella also mentioned that it's possible for some people, such as if your hair is naturally smooth and thick but got damaged by lack of proper care/bleaching. You've seen it, but it's rare and unattainable for most of us even with the best hair care. I sometimes see really great thick, completely frizz/flyaway free hair, but it's still not what you see online or on TV. That kind of hair is close to unreal. Also, please don't talk about 50 dollars a month for just hair care like that's low. For many of us, that's pretty steep in this economy when people are struggling to make rent and buy groceries, especially for students. I do buy only salon quality products, and that still doesn't add up to 50 a month because they can be used sparingly and last for many months. I know some of these hair KZbinrs spend significantly more than than, several hundreds every month, but that's not feasible for most of us. Hair is their income. Mine just needs to look clean and not like I just rolled out of bed for me to do mine.

My hair is thick and dense which most people see as “good hair genetics” but it’s naturally very frizzy, textured, and breakage prone. Hair care made a dramatic difference, and heat styling has saved me high maintenance routines during the week, but if I stopped the doing the things I do, it’ll go back to being the way it was. I know exactly what you mean by the 30% improvement. Having thick hair isn’t the end all be all. I’m grateful for it. But I’ve noticed the grass tends to be greener on the other side. Because fine hair to me, always looked more silky and low maintenance. Mine tends to look dull😅 I’m still trying to figure out how to work with it. I’m entering year 2 of my hair care journey. But I’ve definitely accepted that I’m just limited by my genetics.

I started to learn this about my hair once my husband started to grow his out. He's part Chinese, and his hair is very smooth, sleek, and manageable, and all he does is wash it every day or every other day, no conditioner, no combing, nothing. 😫 meanwhile I've babied mine for over ten years, and it's still dry, frizzy, and increasingly wavy. I've been recently thinking about giving up on trying to get "that" hair and just cutting it shorter to enhance the waves, and this video is pushing me toward that. Thank you for this message 😊

This is so true! And something I learned long ago. You cant change your genetics, you can still however style and wash your hair appropriately for your type so it at least looks as good as it can! Your hair looks great in the video (all your videos) and that is what matters. I had a similar journey and realized one cant turn your hair into someone else's, but its also more relaxing realizing this

What you’re talking about with Jennifer Aniston’s head shape is called high cranial top, if you look it up you’ll find a few other celebrities who have it like Jennie Kim. It’s basically how much height your head has ABOVE your hairline, which influences how much of the top of your head is visible from the front. If you look at me head on, you can obviously see where my part is but you can’t follow the line back on the top of my head, but on pictures of Jennifer or Jennie, you can follow their part toward the back of their even from head on. This makes a huge difference to how our hair looks, especially how voluminous it looks. And like so many other things, it’s 100% genetic and unchangeable :’)

What’s crazy is that I’ve been through the same stages of haircare by now too, but I’m probably quite a bit older than you are and tbh I didn’t even know what conditioner was when I was in my early twenties (and as a teenager I only used a shampoo srsly don’t know how my hair didn’t break off) and I just didn’t care and my hair was waist long at some point (though it was not voluminous or amazing). After the age of 36 the natural brands and minimal haircare was no longer working, my hair would not get shiny anymore so I started watching people who know hair science and started using all the regular products with sulfates and silicones and clarifying shampoos and now my hair is better than ever. I also have wavy hair that’s medium density so sometimes I wear it “curly” but if I blow dry it the regular way and don’t diffuse, it gets somewhat just straight looking. Idk just thought to share. I think I really get your struggle, but at this point I’m convinced that regular haircare products are better than the “all natural” products. Thank you for sharing your experience 😊

I stopped with the “no heat styling” trend last year when I realized after 2 years of barely using heat my hair didn’t look different . What’s the point of having healthy hair if you cannot enjoy it? My hair it to my waist now, long and healthy, I heat style it every time I wash and it has never looked better. As long as you dont so it everyday you should be fine.

I did the curly girl method during Covid and it always looked horrendous. It's actually how I found your channel. My hair is very wavy, fine but there's a lot of it and it's ultra frizzy and no matter how many natural methods I tried, I couldn't get it looking nice. I'm an ex hair model so had it bleached white every six weeks, my hair took a POUNDING but it still looked really good. But the best thing I've done for my hair (and this is so controversial) is to put down the straighteners and curlers and use a Dyson Airwrap with the Olaplex oil and styling cream instead. Is it as shiny and glossy as if I were to straighten it? No. Does it have volume and life and in the best condition it's ever been in? Yes. I'm not sure many people's hair can take as much bleach as mine as had but my hair can't really handle straighteners like others can. I can only put it down to genetics.

I've been obsessed with haircare for maaany years and I can stand by this video full heartedly You summed up so beautifully the main problems with how we view our hair. Its not a well reaserched topic (scientifically speaking) The best you can do is understand your own hair and what it can and can't do Like mine would never have volume or hold a curl longer than a hour, but it has a nice shine for what I'm really proud and greatful You wont love your hair every day, its normal but you can focus on what makes it beautiful And I have to say, during the whole video my chin was down on the floor how gourgeus is your haircolor It didn't mattered if you left it natural or dyed it both looked amazing I think you will be my reference photo if I decide to dye my hair Edit: I just went through the comments and I was shocked how many people kept talking about what worked for THEM and what you should try.... not everyone got the message hah

Your hair is much nicer than you think! It is no way lackluster it looks incredibly shiny for the most part. Depending on how you generally feel in yourself you could try seeing if you're deficient in something! Also blonde hair is naturally more prone to dryness my LO has naturally white hair that I have to care for the same way I did when I fried mine off with bleach😂 but it does slowly grow! All in all embracing what you got is absolutely the best thing for everyone. Massive props for improving the splitting compulsion!❤

A couple of years ago my hair went from being strong, super wavy and shiny to thin as fuck, brittle and dull, and it affected my confidence sooooo much bc I saw all these girls online telling me that I could get my hair back just like they did but no matter how hard I tried, the only thing that really worked was waiting for my hair to grow back again. So now, 2 years later, it's looking way better and the only haircair I've stuck to has just been regular off brand shampoo, Pantene conditioner and being gentle while brushing it. Acceptance and "it is what it is" sometimes do get you places hahaha

I think this is a super important video and more people need to see it. Genetics are the biggest part of how your hair is going to look. I never had too much hair (I have very fine hair strands, i used to have more density when i was younger but its less now due to stress and medications that I've had to take) but my hair has always been naturally VERY shiny and VERY sturdy. Like I've been going to the same hairdresser since I was 5 years old (22 now) and she has never seen me with split ends. That's also why when I started bleaching and dying my hair (less now) it was always still healthy even if I didn't do much to take care of it. But at the same time my hair has a lot of downsides, like it doesn't hold a style too well even if I use A LOT of hairspray, and I can't enjoy a good style for more than a day because it gets oily too quickly no matter what shampoo I use (the only thing that has affected how oily or not my hair gets was consistent hair oiling, somehow it makes my hair stay clean longer don't know why). I feel I went on a tangent but yeah I love this video and I'm so grateful for you making videos like this which help encourage people to love their natural hair with all its strengths and downfalls. Thank you, you're amazing and your hair is beautiful even when it's not❤

This video is so important. I totally get your frustration, especially bec a lot of advertising seems to promise that if you just get this one product then your hair problems will go away. Nah, it solved the problem for a day, and that’s it. I just accepted that beauty is artificial and I will just have to work to make my hair manageable. What worked for my fine/medium hair is using a lot of rinse out conditioners with amodimethicone and blow drying everyday. Medium heat just makes my hair feel thicker and smoother.

What you said is so true, I do a balayage two times a year, and my hair is still very thick and long, I've been doing this for years now. It's funny because we always want what we don't have, I remember being a kid and wanting my hair to be thinner, just like my friend's, I was so annoyed by how thick it was. One time I even shaved the nape of my hair so it would look thinner.

YES! styling also has such a big place in making hair look healthy. i always had pretty smooth, strong hair (fine, low porosity) but i fried the shit out of it these past few years(it is still very fried, permed and bleached and dyed multiple times T.T) but managed to figure out what works for me. i went down a similar spiral, down the whole "clean/natural" products and everything. turns out, hydration is a bit bullshit, according to one article the more actual water content in the hair, the more damaged it feels because of cuticle swelling and the fact that higher porosity damage and damaged hair holds onto more water - i started using silicones again, hair drying with heat again, protective styling it at night and oiling my lengths when dry and my hair looks and feels better, even though the actual quality of it is still terrible

Great video! And from a girl who naturally has straight shiny and frizz free hair - I always loooved the look of more Matt frizzy and messy looking hair. So much so that I used to torture my hair to achieve that look - perm, dyes, bleach etc etc. I feel like a lot of girls with „weaker” hair don’t realise that there are ppl who find their hair more beautiful than those perfect instagram looking shiny long hair that don’t even look real. It’s all really so subjective and in most cases we want what we don’t have.

Hiiii Isabella! _>). It's thin but very strong and silky (I’m guessing because of the oil), but I have NEVER managed to grow it past my waist (neither have my mom or sister). I’ve always wondered why, and then I found out that hair length is influenced by genetics and has a limit! Also, for anyone reading this with an OILY HAIR TYPE: not washing my hair or using less shampoo has NOT made my hair less oily. Oily hair, just like oily skin, is a hair type. You can manage to reduce the oiliness by about 30%, but it will never stop being oily :)

Dry and frizzy does not mean damaged. Ladies, I repeat: DRY AND FRIZZY DOES NOT MEAN DAMAGED My hair type is pretty much the same as Isabella's. Dry, frizzy, fragile. It may be a tad thicker, but overall it's the same. And yes, I managed to get it to being 100% healthy, I trim it only once a year and have zero split ends or breakage. My secret? Protective styles. As in, buns. Our hair gets damaged easily just from rubbing against our clothes, and you won't believe how much of a difference wearing it in a bun 99% of the time makes. Yes, it's extreme, but what can I say, it works.

Thank God for this video. I am so tired of watching influencers with genetically thick hair promote these extensive hair routines with all these different products, promising your hair will look like theirs in a few months. Even in their before and afters, you can clearly tell that they used to fry their hair with bleach and heat and that’s why their “before” looks so damaged. Their “after” video is ALWAYS back to their natural hair colour, professional lighting and heat styling. Like babes its not the $49 shampoo you got at Sephora that has the exact same ingredients as Pantene, its in your genes. They get defensive when people *correctly* point this out in their comments because they know its true, and you can’t sell genetics, but you can sell products🙃

I have had the same issue for such a long time. I have fine curly hair, that use to break off just past shoulder length. My ends would always break off, I wasn’t able to grow healthy hair for about 10 years as well. Tried so many different things and nothing worked. I have been following Abby Young here on YT and have been following her hair care routine, and now my hair is past my bra straps and healthy as well. You should give it a shot if you haven’t already 😊

I have felt SO bitter towards tiktokers telling me to oil my scalp for perfect hair because I have been through the trenches of trying to achieve perfect hair just like you have. My hair was silky straight but puberty caused it to become wavy. I oiled it and it temporarily became silky smooth but not long after my hair became "normal" again. What I learned is silky hair usually comes from heat or products with additives that smooth the cuticles, giving that perfect look despite harming the hair anyway. Organic vinegar rinse methods wont get you there unless you are blessed with great genetics. I am a bellydancer and i have my entire life been envious of women with long hair and mine can only grow to my waist before breaking off. I have also earned that you must enjoy the journey and accept your hair, because at the end of the day you are contributing to a never ending consume of commercial products and i think hair care means to love your hair not change it and compare it to what you see online because we are only human!!! be patient with your hair and let it thrive and your energy and love towards it will completely transform

I remember a video of yours in which you said that you saw a girl with very bleach-damaged hair and you said that your hair at its best is the same as that girl's (I'm heavily paraphrasing, sorry, i watched it a long time ago!), and that sentence truly changed my life. I have very dry, frizzy, coarse, curly/wavy hair that is wiry in a sense that if i do a high pony and then take the tie out, my hair stays in that pony shape. I don't use any heat on it at all, i can put a litre of hair gel in it and still the second I'm in a mildly humid environment my frizz goes wild (some strands are always frizzy). I got a pixie in the hopes that it would grow back "healthy", but my healthy IS dry and frizzy. Oils don't work for me at all, and if anything, skipping the conditioner makes it look better. A year ago I went and bleached my hair and dyed it green, and I have been doing that ever since, and guess what? Bleach didn't make my hair worse AT ALL. I lost my curl (thank god for that, it never looked good curly anyways) and that's pretty much it. I finally found some basic leave-ins that work and now I can get by relatively frizz-free (unless it rains and my hair goes full 80s). Can't believe I've been limiting myself from fun hair for 29 years just because I thought that I could "fix" my hair! There's no fixing genetics - I inherited my curly/frizzy/dry/coarse hair from both of my parents, I was doomed from the start 😂😂

I'm not sure if you address it in your other videos on haircare, but ultimately the quality of your hair can be influenced by your nutrition. Once hair is protruding from your scalp, it's dead and there's nothing you can do to really change it; you can prevent it from being damaged as much as possible (oiling, protective styling, silk bonnets/pillowcases, low/no heat styling, not letting your hair stay wet for long periods, etc), but you can't make it any stronger than it already is. If someone has particularly weak and friable hair, it could be due to a vitamin deficiency, and diet is the best way to address that. Many people turn immediately to Biotin (Vitamin B7), but it's actually a fairly uncommon deficiency in the developed world, so taking those supplements isn't really going to help the average person (and some people can even react poorly to Biotin supplements, developing acne). Vitamin A, D, and B12 are more common sources of hair problems, as well as low iron or thyroid issues. Consider asking your doctor for a blood test, or diversify your diet with more whole foods. Aerobic exercise can also help, as it allows your body to improve blood flow to your scalp (and everywhere else). And remember, no matter what solution you try, it will take months to see any results in hair growth; don't be fooled by products that claim to grow hair overnight, as that's not humanly possible (unless you're talking about relaxing curls lol, but that's not the same as actually producing more length out of the scalp).

I’ve done it all too! Years of frustration! I have thin, fine, frizzy hair because it is wavy and wavy hair is dry. That’s all. I had high hopes too because I thought I was doing something wrong and I was doing everything in my power to have better hair. Yes, it did improve slightly but mostly because I stopped bleaching it. I did extensive hair care for about 2 years and prior cutting my hair short to start fresh without dry ends. I did curly girl method for another year too. I realised it was all for nothing and quickly understood that all the people with great hair do maybe 10 % if that of what I was doing or they do nothing, just wash it. It is all genetics and you can’t get that hair with hair care. Thankfully there’s hair extensions.

Some people have a hair structure that is neither straight nor curly but kinda crinkly. I have it and I have made a routine to keep it straight an shiny. Just let a hair mask do its work overnight every two weeks. And rinse it out the next morning. For the last minute rinse with cold water. Now you should have a good base to work with. After towel dry your hair use a plex serum from SYOSS: 10 pumps for long hair. Very cheap but it works. And when you blow dry your hair always always make sure the hot air flows from your roots to your ends in a a 10 to 20° angle. Do not hold you blow dryer in a 90° angle to your lenghts and do not blow dry your hair upside down. 10° to 20° degree angle will smooth the surface of your hair. Now use 2 pumps of GOLDWELL Kerasilk COLOR Brilliance Perfector and work it throgh you lenghts and ends. Let me know if it worked for you. What I recognized...the inspo photos you showed are all styled and blow dried hair. It is not hair in its natural state. And the hair is mostly fine hair shaft while very dense (lots of hair) which is genetically determined. I personally have thick and dense crinkly hair which is much harder to handle than fine and dense straight hair. No matter how much hair care you use you cannot change your genetically determined hair structure. You only can style it a differnet way.

I see a lot of people being unhappy with the way their hair looks but I hope this helps you a little to love it. I always had a full, which were coarse and curly and a thick head of hair (asian genes) as long as i can remember and i used to hate it because every girl around me had silky, smooth, and straight hair which i always wanted. In 2020, when corona hit and all of us were isolated, I went into a very dark place and lost a lot of hair. Till then, I never took care of my hair but later, i realized how much I miss my big poofy hair. Now my hair has regrown, it's still thick but not as much as it used to be you don't realize what u have until you've lost it so i hope this helps everyone maybe just a little to be gentle and caring with themselves❤

Ive always been complimented on my hair. I came across your channel at about the time you started your infamous hair series about 5 years ago. I was experiencing acute stress, rock bottom really, and had somewhat frequent episodes where i ripped out my hair. Like you, I also had a big chop. My hair grows well on its own, now more than ever I think .. but honestly I'm completely traumatized by the sound of it snapping off. I also have quite severe ocd separately, though it was never centered around splitting my ends. My point being, youre right. There really is no winning with hair. It quite easily becomes a burden to think about, and there's just always going to be something bothersome about it, regardless of how it grows, especially when you experience hair pulling or splitting. Wishing you all the best🩶🩶🩶

genetics, that is everything in most cases, I am from a family with good hair genetics, we have thick, abundant and long hair, the women in my family usually wear their hair quite long because it also tends to grow very quickly and does not It's like we worry a lot about taking care of it, we only use shampoo and conditioner and that's enough to make it look pretty. 💖💗

Hair is like 80% genetics, 10% diet, and 10% effort. I blasted the hell out of my hair on the hottest setting, used heated tools frequently, used dye, used bleach, and didnt start using oil, heat protection or anything beyond conditioner until i was in my 20s. I ate a restricted diet, frequently went hungry, and stayed dehydrated like it was my job. My hair grew like a chia pet, and was thick, glossy, and luscious. It likely still is. I have a buzzcut now 😅. I alternate between growing it out (last record length was past my waist!) And extremely short masculine cuts, bc i get overwhelmed by it. I have friends who love hair and are jealous of mine. All i can say to them is, if i could give it you i would, im not doing enough with it 😂

people seem to underestimate the impact of genetics on hair. My family has great hair genetics, mine is curly and my sister's is straight. I cut and dye my hair and have minimal damage, even after bleaching it's still very thick and healthy. My sister has the hair u want, straight, thick, glossy, with full ends down to her waist. All that with almost 0 effort, just regular washing and conditioning. Very unfair, but it is what it is

Not saying your hair won't be dry again but one thing you could do that really helped me out with the dryness issue was while your hair was still sorta damp and before you use leave in put in some pure hylauronic acid in your hair, it's one of the very few things that can be completely absorbed by hair and is capable of infusing moisture and not just preserving it!! It definately won't give you model hair or anything but just make it softer and less dry

Hi Isabella, I don’t recall you mentioning this topic in your haircare videos (apologies if I missed it!), but I think it’s important to talk about how to layer haircare products, especially those containing silicones. For example, if a hair mask contains silicones, any leave-in spray, cream, or serum applied afterward may not fully penetrate the hair shaft. Similarly, if the leave-in also contains silicones, a hair oil used as the next step may sit on top of the silicone layer rather than nourishing the hair from within. Over time, the improper use of silicones could potentially lead to dryness or a lack of proper nourishment for the hair.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail for this video I'm like ''it's genetics'' lol. I wish girls with that kind of hair would say this when being asked about it, but I guess it's likely that they don't even realize it? Whenever we see this kind of hair, it's always on either celebrities who have people to style it everyday or from people who have the lucky genetics, and I so wish more people knew this as well. I think maybe haircare tutorials for example need to maybe preface more with what their hair type is and more of a ''this is what works for me with my kind of hair/genetics'' other than swearing by things and kinda giving the impression that anyone can do this and see the same results. It's just like anything with our bodies, everyone is made up differently and nothing is a one size fits all. It's great to share tips and tricks that could be helpful, but I think we really are missing an emphasis on the individual and we just need more honest videos like this is basically what I'm trying to say. xD I still wish you all the best with your hair journey! The head shape thing is really interesting! I hadn't thought of that... My hair used to fall quite nicely until I got a perm in 2022 (that went awful and I hated it) and I'm STILL so unhappy with how my hair is and it grows/falls in a different way now.. I've literally cried over it so many times. So I definitely feel the pain with long hair journeys and your videos continue to encourage. Thanks as always, for being real.

Same story. I worked so hard to improve my hair and it didn’t do anything. I have to say though, I have PCOS and it makes my hair sparse, rough and fragile. This can also be caused by thyroid issues and nutrient deficiencies of course but it can also be genetics and if that’s the case you can do absolutely nothing to change your hair texture, quality and maximum length.

Honestly I would suggest you use a high-quality heat protectant and style your hair more frequently. Your hair type allows for the hair to keep shape for a long time and doesn’t need to be washed very frequently, so I would take advantage of that if I were you. My hair is the exact opposite - any hairdo falls apart in a few hours and the next day my hair is greasy beyond belief, so I resort to blow drying to keep it straight and oiling it for damage prevention. Every hair type has its own benefit!

Hey Isabella, I tried it for many years. I would say 10 years. I loved long hair like you do, I was obsessed. I used to apply every possible thing in expect of getting that flawless dream hair. I gave up on sulphate shampoos, started using silicon free conditioners and what not!! But as a result I ended up getting split ends, dry ends, and so fragile hair. At the end I chopped off my hair to shoulder length and accepted that short hairs. And I think its looks cool because thin hair looks cool and thick when short instead if they are long they will look whispy and fragile. I myself have accepted that I am born with that thin hair and I cant do anything.😅 Talking about genetics Every single person in my family have thick and extremely long hair. 😅

Sometimes it is the wrong hairbrush. Some destroy your hair. And you can se it only years later, this damage it did. And it could be a vitamin deficiency. Don't forget that hair comes from within. My hair was very thin for 15 years and I tried every shampoo or haircare product, nothing helped. But then I started to take supplements because my hair fell out after covid. This is 3 years later today, and my hair is the densest it has ever been in my life. Almost 3 times the amount as it was before. And it is more shiny. And stronger. I don't know which deficiency it was, because I take every vitamin, mineral and amino acid, omega 3, collagen....30 tablets a day😊

I have dry hair like you, but thick and coarse. I have spent 15 years trying to oil it up, correct the color, skip heat, doing treatments and masks, eating vitamins... the ONLY way I can get it actually smooth is to boxcolor it (somehow the pigments makes it silky) and style it with a flatiron cream, a flatiron and excessive amounts of oil. The it will stay silky until I go out in the Swedish weather. My sister however, can't even put her hair in a ponytail because it slips out of the hairtie.... and she bleaches it and uses supermarket 2 in 1. 😫
