Thanks for getting the word out. I have gone through so much hydrogen peroxide trying to maintain the previous standard. I even questioned the quality of the hydrogen peroxide I was buying. This makes more sense.

At some point it may be cheaper and easier to use chlorine if your tanks tolerate it. The local spa just doesn't have anyone use the tank for 16 hours after the chlorine shock and nobody complains or notices it. They do also use hydrogen peroxide and a UV light in their significantly more expensive commercial units.

Hi Dirk, chlorine is an option, but we have not tested it in the Tanks and do not know what it might do to the materials - so proceed cautiously because that would not be covered under our warranty. Also, many of our customers do not like the harshness of chlorine so they use H2O2 as the less-harsh alternative.

The filter bag over doubled in price. Any way to get the price a bit lower. Feels like the Gillette razor business model at this point. May you can sell a version where we reuse the connect part to help keep prices down...

Also, the owner of a local spa who has an old Zen tent at his home does a weekly shock with chlorine in his commercial tanks. Would lower peroxide levels and a weekly shock with chlorine be a solution or will the tent and filtration system not tolerate that?

If I understand correctly the old tent with the old filtration system used less hydrogen peroxide and the new tank with a new filtration system uses more hydrogen peroxide. We understand that light degrades hydrogen peroxide and that you tested the new UV light and it didn't seem to make a difference. Have you tried to use the old filtration system in the new tank to isolate the problem to the new filtration system vs something to do with the new tank, or am I missing something?

Hi Dirk, Thanks for the testing suggestion. Actually, the Tent 1.5 filtration system and the Tank filtration system are the same and we checked to make sure there were are no changes to the specs. We also have customers that moved their filtration system from their Tents to their Tanks and are seeing the same H2O2 depletion in their Tank.

SG 1.150? Is there a reason for this amount? Everywhere that I've read it is suggested SG 1.27-1.28.
