The "What is Real" LC is imo specifically tailored for Gallagher, so imo go for it if you want to be using him

I don't like how people treat the herta shop cones as "5 stars" they're not really 5 stars, they have lower stats the actual 5 stars and barely higher then 4 stars so really they're only 4.5 stars but they still require the 5 star amount of exp to raise their level and the 5 star amount of trace materials to ascend them. they're still not bad, but they are closer to 4* cones then they are to 5* cones imho

Meshing is very good yeah. It's better than the 4 star version if I'm not mistaken. I think the 4 star doesn't always give energy when your support gets hit. It only gives 2 instance but Meshing gives it every time.

I have the opposite opinion about dreamville. I'd much rather go for any other 4* option(inc. past and future), or even 3* meshing cogs. its easier to just speed tune for past and future than keeping constant tabs which atk your harmony unit is using throughout the entire battle, otherwise your dps wont get the proper buff, with dreamville.

I don't use any of these Lightcones tbh. As a day one player I just use 4* options, Herta's LC (Destruction, The Hunt) or Meshing Cogs. I kinda regret buying It's Showtime and Fermata. I thought I would need it, but then GNSW hit me up with a few copies.

Flames Afar is probably better for Blade than Secret Vow, so atleast we got a good F2P Blade LC.

Blade's skill takes 30% hp so can trigger the Flames Afar fairly easily. I think a secret vow beats this at S5 though due to the extra dmg to enemies below 50%hp. Flames afar is decent for a more tankier blade.

Flames from Afar is likely the Sam F2P lightcone. I say this because right now the only person who can use that effect is Blade when he uses his ultimate and is above 75% health, which isn't happening unless he's on a team with Luocha or maybe Huohuo. And given what we saw of Sam in his battle, I wouldn't be surprised if their ultimate was like a redline super mode that costs 25% or more of his HP to enter

I mean I’d say it’s also blade’s best (second best if counting Secret Vow but not everyone has S5) since you can proc the passive on skill since Blade consumes 30% of his max HP, and with his buff extension, he gets 3/4 turn uptime on the buff.

Flames Afar i think s a good 4* LC alternative for SAM. I will choose Flames Afar because I will pull for him/her whatever. 😅😊

Have to disagree with you! Past and Future works best for Bronya! and Distiny Threads Forewoven is Aventurine's BiS F2P DMG Light Cone for now.

compared to the free Herta shop 5 star (which is also f2p) as well as 4 star sword play it is not as good. The new one is only really good if you have someone else using the other two at the same time or don't have sword play due to unlucky gacha and someone else uses herta one. It just gets overshadowed so people don't think about it much as well as a lot of people not using a bunch of hunt characters often at the same time so they don't lack LC options. But it is not a bad option.

Right of the bat, I just bought Past and Future for a sub-Bronya LC, What is Real for Gallagher and The Day the Cosmos Fell is a better and F2P version of Geniuses Repose so that's great. It's Showtime would be great on only SW and Black Swan cuz they're the only ones who would build over 67% EHR. Destiny's Thread would be great for Aventurine, but I ain't pulling him.. so yea. It could be good on a defensive March - however, in late game, she usually builds EHR chest except when she's used with Clara. Flames Afar, I would say it will be a F2P LC for Sam. I personally prefer Planetary Rendezvous than Dreamville cuz most of my Harmony usually use skills whereas most of my DPS uses basic attack (Daniel and QQ). I don't really care about Quid Pro Quo since the team that I need energy, most of the time, I have Tingyun. My other teams, that requires energy tends to gain energy fast regardless.

Destiny's Thread is good in general for Preservation. I think people underrate Effect Resistance a bit too much when it comes to Preservation as solo sustain. The main reason Preservation cannot solo sustain in a lot of content is... the instant they get CC'ed, the entire team basically explodes. If they don't explode immediately, they'll explode the second time the preservation unit gets CC'd. It's why people will tell you that Gepard is only good if enemies do not have CC -- 'cuz nobody builds Gepard to withstand CC so their entire team gets nuked instantly every single time they bring him in against an enemy that can CC units

​@@gaerekxenos I know Eff Res is good, but you could just use Texture of Memories for the eff res + the extra mini shield. I look more towards the dmg bonus from Threads Forewoven, but I get your point about the eff res.
