I really love your episodes. They are so calming and relaxed. I usually watch them before going to bed. Not that this is boring, it is fasinating to me, to watch you build all these contraptions. There is a lot of content out on youtube which is far more energenic. Not the right thing to watch before bed time. Keep up the good work Nathan!

I completely agree. So organized. So... calm, collected and slow. It relaxes me while stimulating both my chaotic and calm part of brain. Thank you, Nathan, for creating such wonderful entertainment for all of us.

For the Hatches, you can link the conveyor chute to the automation from the farms, and instead of them dropping on the floor it will just continue on the shipping line to the next level and then end up in the kill chamber :)

A better hot oxygen tamer without niobium/thermium would have been run radiant pipes with naptha (since you have no oil) through hooked up to an AT/turbine, that would cool it down real quick. Let the Poxygen rise in a contained room segment with airflow tiles on the top. In the room segment above that, have mesh tiles on the bottom, which would be on top of the airflow tiles. Fill those with some naptha so the poxygen cannot get through. On top of that, have your deoderizers served by automation, guaranteed only pure oxygen and clay coming through. You could then send the clay to a contained kiln room for automatic ceramics production.

But that is the same outcome as my machine? Mybe I failed to understand your explanation.

Regarding your simplification that you "could implement now that the reservoirs are getting balanced", there is literally no difference between hooking both into the same line (effectively making an implicit OR gate) then negating that and negating each individually first and ANDing them together afterwards. Their truth tables are the same (00->1, 01->0, 10->0, 11->0), the only difference would've been if you wanted to have each reservoir's signal control something by itself without signal pollution.

You could add onto the polluted oxygen contraption to pump that oxygen into an oxylite refinery. It will be a little more work but it will be a pretty neat contraption.
@Nathans-Sandbox2 жыл бұрын
Good point. We'll refine the contraption next episode, the outcome is epic!

For the Critters Male a small room, put a Critter-drop-of on a tile that lets water pass through, a crittersensor, a Pump and some shipping. Always when there are like 10 critters in this room the room shall be flooded so the critters die and when the number of critters is below 10 the pump is pumping the water out. This way the dudes only have to put the critters in but don’t get hurt during killing them.
@Chris-tt5ly2 жыл бұрын
The room must have a small floor or the pumping of water will take to long. (Sry for bad English I’m not a native speaker)

Just putting this here even though no one cares… I was a geology major, and we all pronounced mafic with a long A “may-fic”. But every ONI person I watch uses short A “mah-fic”. I was wondering if was a regional thing (I’m from the US), so I looked it up. Every single dictionary/how to pronounce site I found said short A. But I also found a site that somehow pulls KZbin videos that people happen to say the word in question, and all the ones where the speaker was obviously a geologist said long A. Very odd!
@datdud22 жыл бұрын
to cool the hot oxygen u could use some metal tiles going towards a steam turbine but you would need to cool the oxygen if u want to use it and you could also use a critter drop off below some mesh tiles and 4 open mechanized airlocks filled with water activated by a critter sensor

Kind of silly not storing the natural gas. If you end up needed it for a rainy day, you'd not have any. Goes for the Hydrogen as well. If you are just going to burn it off why not just pump it into space. It really doesn't matter you're wasting it anyway. My extra hydrogen I get from my oxygen maker goes to the space program when I'm not using it for power on my oxygen maker. Silly to waste it like you are doing. I get enough to power my whole rocket program from free hydrogen from my oxygen maker. With your setup you are making enough hydrogen to run 1 generator almost 24/7. Silly waste that much gas just burning it off.
@Nathans-Sandbox2 жыл бұрын
Dude! We're powering our base with the gases. It's not wasted. So we're not burning gases, they are powering the base...
