You haveeeee to do Brazil and anchor in Rio. It lives up to the hype and it's a good regional hub for flights up to Salvador or down to Florianopolis. Plus only ~2 hours from Buenos Aires. The music, food and culture in Brazil is so unique

Can't wait to see your Tasmania travels. It's such a gorgeous place and all the food there is delicious. I went ages ago with my friends and we are super low-key travellers so we loved Tasmazia and the Village of Lower Crackpot. Kunanyi/Mt Wellington is a compulsory stop. It was freezing when we went in Summer, so it'll probably be snowy in Winter! We also loved Ashgrove cheese because... cheese. We were roadtripping for five days and barely touched the surface, so I hope you're planning to spend a lot of time there!

We're SO excited for Tassie! Checking the weather daily to mentally prepare for the cold haha. We think you're right about the days, we've got about 8 and initially thought that was lots, but quickly realising that's nowhere near enough to fully appreciate it but still lots of places we can get to!
@Matt-bj8ct Жыл бұрын
Hey guys, my wife is a huge fan and watches all your videos! We also live in Tassie! Some must see things in Hobart is Mona museum, Salamanca markets (on every Saturday) there are also some nice bars and restaurants in Salamanca. You can head down south to Geeveston and visit the tahune air walk, it's a big elevated board walk amongst some old growth trees. You can also cross over to Huonville and call into Willie Smith's cider house which has awesome cider! St Helens/ bay of fires on the east coast is amazing, the drive up the coast is beautiful. I would definitely spend a night or 2 at cradle mountain, really beautiful there! Launceston is also nice to visit in the north and has some nice vineyards, Stanley is a good day trip from Launceston to see the nut. Also the west coast is raved about (I've actually never been there, but heard amazing things) so many things to list off, but you won't get bored! Enjoy your time in Tassie guys 👍
@DanegerAndStacey Жыл бұрын
We've heard a lot about the Mona musuem actually! Though it has already been covered by another creator for Jetstar so we're not sure we'll get there but the markets are on the plan and a lot of the other spots you mentioned too! I think we will probably going up the East coast for a few more of the well known places, but we keep hearing about the West as well as being a bit more hidden, much like NZ really so we'll see how we go for time
@Matt-bj8ct Жыл бұрын
@@DanegerAndStacey you can't go wrong with the east coast, so many nice towns to stop in on the way to St Helens & the bay of fires. Iron house brewery would be worth a stop on the way up, along with Kate's berry farm if you love raspberries and ice cream! Bruny island is beautiful also, but not sure on your time frames, there's so much to see! There is a survival show called alone that was filmed on the west coast that might be worth a watch, I've never been but been meaning to go as I've only heard amazing things about the area! Enjoy your time down here guys, if you want awesome beers and feed in Hobart I highly recommend fox friday brewery, the place is amazing!

I can't wait to see your trip with Stace's dad to Malaysia and I can't wait for y'all to go back to Veitname too. The one that I'm really looking forward too though is South America\the Amazon. I think I actually requested it a while back if I'm not mistaken I believe you guys had asked if we had any suggestions on new places we'd like to see y'all visit and that was my suggestion so I'm ecstatic. It's such a huge magical place with so much culture and flora and fauna and history but there's not that many travel vloggers that visit there, (or at least not many that have such great, positive, and professional content as you guys do). Congratulations also on the wedding, I knew y'all had to of been together for a long time but I didn't know exactly how long. You can just tell because there's a certain vibe y'all share and such great communication and you can just tell y'all truly love and enjoy being with one another and that type of energy comes with years of being together. I love it

If you like contemporary art Mona in Hobart is well work a trip, it's very cool. Get the posh pit tickets on the ferry. The drive to and from Strahan through the mountains is epic, especially coming into Queenstown. Cradle mountain is great too. Bread and butter in Launceston is a great brekkie spot. We really loved the Ile du Phoque boat tour to Maria Island with Maria Island tours. One of our trip highlights.

Recommended restaurants in Hobart: Aloft, Fico, Frogmore Creek (2 venues, one in the city and the other situated amongst their vineyard at Cambridge which is scenically better imho) and Peppina. Also Glasshouse which is situated directly below Aloft, so both restaurants have stunning waterfront views (being sited over the top of the river Derwent) but I think Aloft’s food is consistently much better. Tasmania is, as you mentioned, a foodie’s paradise so if you pass somewhere that you get a vibe about, stop and check it out, cos there are lots of small hidden gems all over the island. If you’re seafood lovers, look out for scallop pies on anyone’s menu and try it 😋

Tasmania trip from a Tassie born and bred. Winter is wonderful and weather will e similar to NZ north island. You must visit the Tamar region in north, Strahan to visit the Gordon River (on the red boat which is the best), west coast around Arthur’s River and Corinna which is just amazing,Stanley has awsome views and seafood. Bay of Fires Coles Bay and of course Hobart is amazing.
@DanegerAndStacey Жыл бұрын
eeek getting us excited! I don't think we'll have enough time to go right up North but we're definitely ticking those off along the East coast and up from there - looks like 2 weeks would be ideal but we've only got 8 days!
@RenegadeRanga Жыл бұрын
At this point I have an Asia trip planned for the very end of this year and follow into next year but I'll see what happens. I had planned to get to Tasmania at the end of last year and take the spirit of Tasmania over but went to Adelaide instead. Depends on how many days you have allocated, apparently 10 is a good number. I would say land in Hobart from Kiwiland and do a lap around Tassie by car or van. That was my plan. Hobart, Port Arthur, Freycinet coast, St Helens, Launceston, Davenport. Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park looks epic to me.
@DanegerAndStacey Жыл бұрын
Nice one, sounds like we're on the right path with our planning then based on those locations so hopefully we're covering enough ground in 7-8 days. Though like you said, 10 seems better and there's no way we'll be able to tick it all off unfortunately
@RenegadeRanga Жыл бұрын
@@DanegerAndStacey 8 days is better than none. Have everything booked at least 4 months in advance for the December January period. Either side of that is not too bad.
