Why do all the Americans makes so much low water level ponds ? I think it would be better to make it at least 1 meter deep...

Our outdoor ponds are at least 2 feet deep. Others are deeper than that.

TEAM Aquascape No offense but if the koi grows bigger, they only can eat horizontaly not vertical... a koi swims up and down too not only from left to right. Outside or inside its the same for me.Thats why i'm confusing about such pond builds. Btw thanks for your answer.
