Updating the Mario and Luigi dance tier list

This is part 2 of the Mario and Luigi dance tier list! I'm ranking the battle dances I missed as well as the victory and level up dances. In my short time making content this is definitely my most ambitious work so far!
Shoutout to ‪@MasterOfHyrule‬ and ‪@lumi_wish‬ for the victory and level footage, and for the Ok Good Great Excellent sprites respectively.

@SLava_66 Kenny James, the voice of Bowser has stated in interviews that one of the only times he said real words as Bowser was Inside Story's "SHOWTIME". He also said 'nintendo' so the 'I rule!' could either be intentional or a happy little accident when the devs were placing the voice lines into the game :)

Man, Bowser in BiS DX was done DIRTY. They couldn't play an animation during the stat bonus section so they made him do that swiping animation as his level up pose, but that results in this awkward long pause before it finally says "Level Up!" Just give him a new victory animation at that point

i think the issue i have with the bowser's inside story remake animations for levelling up is it reuses the ones from dream team/paper jam (which the latter does as well, for a couple parts. but as explained in the video there are more little things they added to paper jam's - an idle for the victory, an idle before the level up, slightly modified level up pose for mario) and even then it removes the little idle movements the other 3ds titles had. also yeah bowser was robbed that "I RULE!" was iconic

If you leave Paper Mario and Mario In Paper Jam standing on the level up screen for a bit longer they'll do an extra animation to spice the dance up

My client BIS Luigi now in S-Tier, I approve. And as someone who literally just finished replaying PiT yesterday, I can say that though the baby animations are incomplete here, I probably wouldn't rank them much differently. Maybe Baby Mario's little hat spin finish on the level up screen would get bonus points, but there's so much more fun stuff to rank above it.

Excellent follow up to an Excellent video, just a few things I noticed that you might think are important 4:35 These dodging animations are different in dream team, both the bros each have one thats shared for jumping and hammering. its nothing really special, honestly would probably go in miss tier but i felt like it was worth noting 9:55 not sure if it would change the placement but baby marios hat does a little spin, i think its cute

What nets Partners in Time's level up some plus points in my eyes is the sound effect that plays when the Bros. jump worward and the number of their level pops up. It just adds so much oompf and it really feels like you've accomplished something and gotten rewardedly stronger for it. 18:45 "That's the only part that they reuse." Nah man, it takes everything from Dream Team (and so does the Bowser's Inside Story-Remake) except for the glances upward before the stats come in. I would definitely take some points off there. That's also why I would rank the games in order of release instead of the remakes immediately after their originals.

Awesome video🎉, In my personal opinion you might as well make a video tier list series about the animations of the Mario and Luigi series. There are so many from: items, jumping, hammer swings, bros attacks from miss to excellent,so on and so forth. I especially would like to see every bros attack from miss to excellent in the series as technically the only video of that nature that exists are the ones from Superstar Saga (There is so much more missing 😢 in the series). Technically you would be the first uploader to do something like, however that is your choice to do that.🤔 (I know that is a lot of work 🙂‍↕️😒) Best of wishes 🎉

I'm pretty sure Bowser's Inside Story DX just reused animations from Dream Team for the level up animations, which is kind of lame especially considering they made them static unlike in the other 3DS games and because they remade most of the other animations for when you were in battle to match the originals. My guess is they just ran out of dev time.

They did such a bad job though to the point where they don't even have the animation in between their poses and just keep them idle until they need to move on to the next pose.
