My mom had a fit because a petstore wouldn't sell her any more fish for a while because her last tank got cold shocked and died, due to her negligence. Yelled about how it's her job to sell her fish and not to question her. Ruined any opportunities that I had to work there, unfortunately. I felt bad, because that shop was really relaxed and I loved hanging out with the lizards

Our town has two banks, with drive throughs and ATM's. One is in the wall just after the drive through window, one is just before. If it's busy and you want to use the ATM you have to walk through the line with the cars. This is done quite often, and especially during lunch hour when only the drive up is open (this happened before COVID, both banks are now on drive through only). It was a hot July day of a good 100F/38C. In sun. I get in line at the bank with the ATM before but I actually have 'counter business'. So I get behind a pickup, third back, in line with the driver. In the sun. I deal with exhaust and wait. Up behind me pulls a guy cussing and swearing, screaming, and honking horn for me to get the blip out of his way. Two cars up is taking a while, they are dealing with a business cashbag. Entire time I'm being sweared out and the guy has pulled up to bumper almost touching me. Someone joins the line behind him. Up front finally finishes and we advance, at least now I'm in awning shade. Behind me almost ran me over, did not touch me and I'm almost touching pickup in front. He's still at it back there with horn, swearing, screaming, and more that I won't get OUT OF HIS BLEEPING WAY. Teller is rolling her eyes, I can see her doing so. She finishes, my turn. Guy lurches forward and does actually force me ahead a bit, I do skinny between his wheel and the window to conduct my business all the time he's STILL raging. And two more in line behind him now so no he couldn't back up either. I get done, it was brief (payment that had to be done in person). I slip out of the way, Mr. Noisy Hornbucket Dbag gets to the window with a FINALLY and a string of swear words. Teller gets his attention finally, to tell him after nearly 20 minutes of his noise and attitude that he was being refused service. He can come in in half an hour when the lobby is open. Next car joined queue. I was told later that he did return after lobby opened, and he threw another mass fit and got told he had to find another bank. They had the CCTV of him trying to run a customer over. Other bank had already banned him so he ended up with an out of town bank (add 45 minutes each way for a drive if they need personal stuff)...

I was talking to my mom, trying to explain how some feature on Instagram worked, when my dad came up behind me. He’d barely heard any of our conversation, just enough to know we were talking about posting online, and decided to make a joke about me post p*rn. He’s always very inappropriate and thinks he’s funny when he’s being disgusting. I very calmly said “I’m going to leave now” and walked away. His mood did a 180, suddenly he was screaming at the top of his lungs that he didn’t do anything wrong and he was always being treated horribly. My mom tried to talk to him and remind him that I hate it when he makes inappropriate jokes at my expense, but he started banging his cane on the floor like a child in a temper tantrum. He’s had quite a few tantrums but this was the worst I’ve seen from him in a while.

Oh my God, that makes me crazy when an adult or child throws a fit after being told no and after repeatedly being told no just escalate the tantrum and then end up getting their way just to appease them. All that does is tell them ok I know I will get my way if I just continue the fit for 10 straight min or whatever. They know the point at which you'll cave now and will just continue to come around acting like a fool over everything. I honestly think I would prob tell my boss I'm not doing it. I would prob get fired but rewarding bad behavior is a pet peeve of mine. 😠

That's the exact problem with my younger sister! I absolutely hate how she was never really punished for her crap growing up. Now she's a narcissistic POS who uses people for her own gain & throws them away for the slightest of things. She's just a horrible person who believes she deserves only the best in the world. It really does make me sick to see that same "parenting style" still used today. I know first hand what will happen when those kids grow up & they'll always play the "victim" when anyone tries to set them straight.

Ooh I have one. I worked at a fabric store briefly a few years ago. Didn’t have many hours because corporate kept cutting hours for the floor staff, so I wasn’t there long because I needed to move on the a job I could actually pay my bills with. So anyway, one day I’m working checkouts and it’s not too busy. There are maybe two or three people waiting and it’s moving along pretty quickly. This older man comes up to the checkouts with a tiny scrap of fabric, and proceeds to shout loudly about how he “doesn’t have time for this” and isn’t going to wait in line. Throws his scrap of fabric at my counter and storms out. Over what would have been maybe a five minute wait at most. But wait, there’s more! Dude comes back a couple days later, during which time I was off and it’s now my first day back for the week. So I have little to no idea what’s gone on while I was off for those couple of days. Proceeds to storm up to me while I’m working cut counter and demand to know what was done with his piece of fabric because he’s ready to pay for it now. Two days later. After throwing it at me and not saying anything about wanting to hold it, etc. I politely tell him that because he didn’t say anything about coming back for it or wanting to put it on hold, it was likely out in the bin where bits that are too small to sell by the yard are put. Dude demands I stop helping the other people at the counter to go find it for him. I tell him I can’t do that but that he’s welcome to look for it himself, or if he’d rather not he can go get the bolt again and I’ll cut him a new piece once I’m done helping these other customers. Dude proceeds to gripe and grumble and say all kinds of rude things about how wrong it is that we didn’t keep it for him (we’re not mind-readers, m*****f****r…) and continues to complain the whole time I’m helping him about the whole thing. Doesn’t even bother to say thank you or anything when I’m done; just snatches the fabric out of my hand and storms off to the checkouts. Never seen someone throw such an enormous fit over the world’s smallest cut of fabric before. TL;DR: middle aged man throws tantrum over short checkout line, throws item on counter and leaves, then returns days later wanting to buy the item and gets mad that we didn’t know he would be back for it because he didn’t say anything.

Years ago I worked with a girl who misplaced two dollars and turned the office upside down looking for it. She was yelling, stomping, and totally overreacting. Then I kid you not, broke down crying as she frantically searched. I offered to give her the money since she started to get really annoying at that point and needed the noise to stop. She sobbed and agreed to accept the money. No more than two minutes had passed only to find out the money was in her jacket pocket all along. She was so embarrassed and offered to give me my money back. I told her that's okay, keep it. After what I witnessed you obviously need it more than me.

I was waiting in line in customers at the airport in Madrid. First time flying by myself, and I didn’t want to miss the flight back. One of our senior mechanics who’s been working in shops since the 80s has a story from the early 2000s. He was fixing up a Camry and when he took the car out to the guy once it was done, he flipped his crap. The guy yelled about how there was a 4 inch long scratch on the hood that had already been there beforehand, stole his cigarettes outta the inside, and broken his side window. A friend of mines mother had thrown a temper tantrum over a couple months after their dad wanted a divorce. She texted him and other people things like: “Yeah he/you would say something like that.” “You only support him because *insert benefits that he doesn’t have or give*. All of this built up to the final show down of her tantrums. The final text my friend received from her mother was: “If you support him (and she actually said this) don’t consider me your mother.” After the mom texted her that, my friend texted back “Call it done.” She instantly drove home from her work and threw possibly the biggest adult tantrum I’ve ever seen, and probably won’t see anything even close to it for awhile. Mind you, I was at my friends house. I had some serious second hand embarrassment from her behavior.

A few years back, I was flying out to visit a friend. The plane was delayed, apparently there were problems with the plane. After about a half an hour some guy completely lost it. Tried to get the other passengers to agree with him and some did, until he got to me. I was reading a book and he parked himself in front of me and demanded to know why I wasn't upset. I simply looked up at him and said, I want to get where I'm going, so either they fix this one or bring in another one but I'd rather be safe. He shut up after that and while I didn't get a first class seat the flight attendant was very attentive to me, lol. Not sure what happened to the guy but seriously, the airline didn't *want* the plane to break down it just happened and throwing a tantrum didn't make the plane repair crew work any faster. Incidentally, they had to bring in another plane so yeah, if it was that bad, I'd rather wait it out.

I took my mom to her doctor's appointment and had to bring my young son. A well dressed middle aged man came into the waiting area and started screaming at the office manager over his additional records. The manager kept calmly explaining the record person was at lunch. He started hovering over her, waving his arms, screaming and even stomping his feet. "I won't leave, I want my records this minute." I had to explain to my son that the man's mom never spanked him, and that if he did this, it would not be tolerated.

I remember helping my cousin at the greenhouse he manages. Was helping him on paperwork. I heard screaming and stomping noises. Figured it was a little kid in the little store area. We Go up to the copy machine room there is a person there training the new computers. One of the workers got up and said "I hate this new system". Than starts crying. Throws the computer and than destroys her office space. My cousin just pushes me out and tells me to get out before she sees us. Can hear yelling get back here (glass breaking noises). On the end of the day I see her going towards us yelling at us because we didn't have to up grade our computer. (His kid thought and slams the door shut on her and locks it. For entertainment purposes he went out the back entrance. We waited in the car saw her screaming at the door until two of her co workers convince her to leave. I parked too close to a car once and I basically owned up to it, apologized immediately and said that I was leaving asap. For some people, this just isn't enough. This lady went APESHIT on me. She started screaming at me, so I told her that she was not allowed to speak to me that way. She then proceeded to scream even more, told me she was going to smash my door into pieces to which I responded that I was going to call the police and did she really want to go to jail tonight? She then scream some more called me a "bitch" and "cunt." She continued to threaten me and I told her that she could do all of those things and that I was going to call the police. She got even crazier. Thankfully she was all talk and eventually left. As she was leaving I told her it was a choice to be miserable. I could tell by the look on her face that she knew I was right and was thoroughly humiliated by the insane, pathetic way she reacted to the situation. Some people are just full of absolute bullshit and it's way better to call them out on their fucking shit than stand there and take it.

10:16 they are part of the problem. You do NOT have to go to college to be successful. I wish my highschool wouldve told us about trade schools as well as colleges. I wouldve had like 8 years of being an electrician under my belt vs starting now. Little to no student debt, and if you do end up with some you'll be able to pay it off relatively quickly. Trades are always in demand. If you dont factor in debt any trade will blow someone with an art degrees wages out of the park. If you factor in debt itll take a dr like 10-15 years after school (cant remember exact numbers) to start making more than an electrician. Consider trade school college isn't your only option; in some cases it's your best.

I worked at the Grand Canyon during the 1970's. Mule trips: nearly every day, there was a meltdown. There was a minimal height and maximum weight requirements. Precious little Wilberforce and darling little Hortense were too small to make the trip safely--cue the screaming tantrum from the kids AND from Gladys & Abner (the parents). Big Bertha and Big Bert tipped the scales & they too couldn't go. Yup full on screaming tantrums. Add to the that, the day after a massive thunderstorm which wiped out the hiking/mule trails. ALL mule trips were cancelled until the trails could be repaired. We had a week of screamers. Occasionally, we'd have a fog that totally obscured the Canyon. Yup...the tantrum throwers were demanding that the Front Desk Manager "do something about it" or comp their stay. Same when we'd have snow & a white out, same demands. Dealing with the public. Fun times.

I wasn't there to see it, unfortunately, but I heard about it from my boss. Mid-way through the initial covid lockdown, around April or so, I'd just gone back to my job of six years, wishing I hadn't because the place was a toxic hellhole of a restaurant where the servers got away with doing nothing because the boss's wife was the head server. Their responsibilities became mine. In May I got offered a job with someone I used to work with who I respect, so I jumped ship. A year later, I find out my old job is having trouble keeping employees, and one of the older, veteran servers called out the boss's wife on her toxic bullshit. Allegedly, the lady went full-on toddler tantrum. Face red and scrunched up, fists balled up and jumping up and down. Not in front of customers, but in front of all the employees. Some part of me wishes I could have seen it just for the satisfaction.

I called last year, and spoke to you About it. Me: I don't have a record of you paying for a deposit. Karen: I don't have to, I'm really good friend's with your boss's family. Me: Ma'am, you won't get a set date without a deposit...I apologize for the confusion, but I'm sure we can work something out for next weekend. Karen: Fk you! I'm calling your boss. Ironically, our boss's mother came in after the tounge lashing from the Grand High Karen. I love our boss's mom, she always has our back. I told her about the conversation. She was appalled. She called Karen, and put her on speaker phone. Karen: I'm so happy that you called. Mom: Yeah, I know why, and I'm appalled.. Karen: Me too! Mom: I'm appalled that you tried to bully your way into getting your way. That's embarrassing! Karen: Excuse me? I called Last year about it. Mom: Yet, you didn't pay, or sign a contract. So you're either going to have to reschedule your event, or just not have one. Honestly, I wouldn't blame the restuarant if they refused to host you, after that kind of behavior. Karen hung up. Mom always has our back. She owns a local business here in our rural community. She knows how people can be. We've been short staffed (like alot of businesses in the U.S.A) she will come in and help with her son, and grandchildren. Also, when we're slow, she will come in, and tip the bill. This woman has the RBF, she looks intimidating, but she is a wonderful person who refuses to take any bs. ❤

...when ppl tantrum near me, I stand as close as I can as if watching a show... I've gotten some curses thrown at me, but I'm kinda big, so noone takes it any further... it irks them all the more if I'm eating something at the time... I just remain neutral and stand there, staring and even giggling at times... a couple of times, they just leave altogether... I've never applauded, though, as I figure that may cross the line and actually get some blunt object hurled at me... this is in Brooklyn, so it happens more often than you'd think... good entertainment, though...

last summer I went to the state fair for a concert we were over by the carousel since my little cousin was on it then this woman comes over, she looked pretty young anyway she was climbing over the gate with heels on and starts calling out for her boyfriend but when she found out that her boyfriend was ignoring her, she basically got angry and started rattling the gate bar like a rabbit that wanted to be let out of a cage or something I'd never witness anything like that before honestly I felt really bad for the boyfriend he didn't deserve that

The people that throw fits in stores expecting other customers to side with them and pressure the poor cashiers into give them free items must be shocked when the customers instead shout things like, "Shut the blazes up!" or glare at them, stare awkwardly, or smile while filming the tirade to post online.

25:24 well yeah she is a bad driver and didn't care about the rules of the road and only her car was the center of the universe so yeah i expect this result with bad drivers they get a taste of what they almost caused now he shouldn't slash the tires but she didn't so much to mend the situation just just forgot him and said oh well

I am convinced that driving is simply not good for anyone's mental health. The pickup truck drivers are almost always the worst of them.

Oh man the GameStop story I honestly was half expecting half anticipating the poster to a witness of the GameStop lady freaking out “that it’s Mam”. Or a witness to the Chris Chan tantrum at GameStop.

Adults who throw temper tantrums in public how tf are y’all not embarrassed with you life when you make a scene in public. Do y’all have high confidences or have no thoughts when acting like a 5 year old who didn’t get what you want. Like I’m genuinely wondering what tf are y’all thinking when doing this shit and where or who told you it was remotely ok to do
