I went to a nightclub one night in my early 20s and parked my car at a gas station close by. When I left the club, my car had been towed. I was by myself and didn’t know what to do. I didn’t have a cell phone at the time. A 40 something year old man drove by and saw me crying, in my skimpy club clothes, and told me he knew where they took the towed cars and could help me out and I wouldn’t have to pay to get it out. After some hesitation I got into his car. Sure enough, he took me to the tow lot and got my car out for me. And that was that.

I walked 7-10 blocks of Downtown Atlanta in the middle of the night with my tiny female friend, just to refresh my parking ticket in a lot that wasn't intended for overnighting. We were fine, but dear god what an unnecessary risk.

Walked and crawled across a nearly 400m long train bridge that had massive holes in the forefoot which was 200m above the ground, the bridge had an abandoned rail line running across it

Probably overtaking someone on the motorway at over 100 mph and nearly losing control of my car. Very easily could have died that day

So far? Me and some acquaintances dodging cars in Chicago trying to get back to where the rest of the group on a school sponsored trip was from a restaurant across the street. I think we all almost had heart attacks

This happened years ago: Im 23 now but i think i was 16-17 at that day. A friend of mine started a fight in a bar with 3 big dudes. They knocked him out and still beat & kicked him after he passed out. Nobody was helping him so drunk stupid me thought it was a good idea to grab a metal bar stool and i started attacking them. Somehow i managed to knock out all 3 of them. Im rather skinny and if all of the 3 wasnt so drunk they could barely stand i would have met the same fate my friend had. That could have ended very badly. Till this day we all make jokes about it every time someone sees a bar stool and messes with me haha xD

met a wonderful woman, she had a 15 yo daughter. married her, took her daughter into our home. 45 years ago. now have great grandbabies. good decision.

Either multiple drug cocktails (12 Overdoses.... 4.5yrs clean!) or the time i closed the valve on a 5 gal propane that had caught on fire.. it would have burnt my mind house down, and i wouldve been dead anyways, so I figured id wet a rag and go for it... It worked, i turbed the valve off and stopped the fire.. i remember thinking that any second i was gonna see a bright light and that would mean i was dead.. weird thing to think when youre twelve

The woman bringing M into Thailand . Who is worse? The smuggler or to girl who warned and worried but still went along? Several examples here of very dumb things that have weed as am elements to the poor decisions. Yeah it’s harmless…. Only it makes you risk death or life imprisonment in a third world country.
