What's the difference between a 26 Handicap and a 12 Handicap?

High handicapper Dennis from ‪@BogeyGolfUK‬ joins me for a brand new video format called - 'Win A Hole, Lose A Club'.
The rules are simple. We each get to pick 6 clubs from our bags plus our putter. We then play matchplay over 9 holes and each time one of us wins a hole, the other player gets to remove a club from their opponent's bag for the rest of the match.
Luke is a 12 handicap and Dennis is a 24 handicap so Dennis gets an extra shot on the 7 hardest holes on the front 9.

Great video… it looks like Dennis has the ball a long way back in the stance, which looks like a steep and unforgiving angle of attack… I used to do this, but improved my irons a lot by putting the ball a little further forward, shallowing the angle of attack and if anything open the face slightly to prevent a hook.

I've hate losing balls that just roll off the fairway into the rough it's doubley annoying because not only should you not have lost it, had you kept a better eye on it ( or like the pros you have someone run over and hold a marker up),but you lose a stroke too. When in reality its like playable if only you could find it. The other week the course I was playing was really quiet and as nobody was following me I spent nearly 20 minutes looking for my ball where I thought it went (found 6 others whilst looking) decided to drop a ball and then actually found my ball 15 yards further up than I thought I'd hit it. So i played that and picked the dropped ball back up when I got to it. I don't care if you slice or hook one way out into the woods or smash one into a lake. That's a bad shot the balls gone and so is the shot.
