I bought an LT series trim level, all wheel drive, best van I ever had! I took out the rear most seat, but left the mid seat in place, great for passengers and cargo, I have shelves and LED lighting and drawers on both sides of the rear, I have front and rear AC and heat and everything is insulated and carpeted already, the best thing is a side sliding door, never get the double doors they don't stay aligned, they're constantly leaking air and they're junk! Mine is a 2011 with a 5.3, one of the best motors out there never had a problem never lets me down and the all-wheel drive is bear in the winter!

The body have not changed in 30 years.. this is true. I have a 2020 front clip on my 1998 I love the look. And I have changed out the doors for power windows and power locks

These vans are long overdue for a facelift. They haven’t received any facelifts since 2003, which was over 20 years ago. Their configurations/options have changed but certain components are already more than outdated. Also, they’re the only remaining American full-size vans to be body-on-frame since the Econoline discontinued its van body in 2014, so they deserve more attention as they’re the last of a dying breed.
