Thanks a lot. I wonder if upgrading voids the warranty?
@Ligh_TechАй бұрын
Nope upgrading doesn't void the warranty
@Ligh_TechАй бұрын
For the Asus TUF Gaming A15, upgrading the RAM or storage typically doesn't void the warranty, as Asus generally considers these user-replaceable components. However, it’s essential to follow these guidelines: 1. No Damage: Ensure the upgrade doesn’t cause any damage. Physical damage from an upgrade attempt might void the warranty. 2. Compatible Parts: Use compatible RAM and storage to avoid compatibility issues. 3. Local Policies: Warranty policies vary by region, so check Asus’s warranty terms in your area. For precise details, it's best to confirm with Asus support or refer to the warranty documentation provided with your laptop.

is this tuf fa507nv? If yes, how much can the RAM speed be upgraded? because my friend said the RAM can be upgraded to a speed of 5600mhz
@Ligh_TechАй бұрын
Yes this is the tuf FA507NV. The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA507NV typically supports DDR5 RAM up to 4800MHz, which is standard for many laptops in this range. However, upgrading to 5600MHz may not yield the full benefit if the motherboard or BIOS has a cap at 4800MHz. Especially If the system does not recognize speeds beyond 4800MHz, installing 5600MHz RAM would only run at the highest supported speed, likely 4800MHz.

Does the crucial ram match with the existing ram and working perfectly as dual channel??
@Ligh_TechАй бұрын
I don't think they match. But the speed is the same for both sticks and they work perfectly fine for me and I haven't encountered any issues. They work perfectly fine as dual channel however for maximum performance its best to have both sticks at the same speed, size and preferably the same brand.

What is the maximum storage space that the laptop supports? Because I read that the maximum is 2 TB and I want to verify the accuracy of this information.
@Ligh_TechАй бұрын
The model I have is the Asus TUF Gaming A15 FA507NV and it supports up to 16TB of storage. The information may be accurate for a different model of the Asus Tuf A15. Most gaming laptops support 2 TB to 4 TB of storage on average, depending on their configuration. Entry-level models typically support up to 2 TB, while mid-range and high-end laptops can handle up to 4 TB or more, with some premium models supporting 8 TB or higher.
@hossammohammed3442Ай бұрын
@@Ligh_Tech My laptop is FA507NU. Do you think it supports more than 2 TB because I cannot find any information about it?
@Ligh_TechАй бұрын
@@hossammohammed3442 The Asus TUF A15 FA507NU can support up to two M.2 NVMe SSDs, each with a maximum capacity of 4TB, allowing a total of 8TB storage.

Hello, Maximum is 64GB of ram. I haven't tried it yet but it was marketed as 64GB maximum ram when I bought it. But I also think it depends on the type of model some models can only handle 32GB while some models can handle more 64GB.

It sounds like your ASUS application is detecting a potential issue with your SSD, but it's not providing specific details. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this: 1.Check the Health of Your SSD with a Different Tool You can use third-party SSD health check tools like: CrystalDiskInfo: This provides detailed information about the health of your SSD. You can check for more. 2.Update SSDFirmware:Sometimes, an issue might be related to outdated firmware. Check the SSD manufacturer's website to see if there is a firmware update for your model. 3.Run a Windows Disk Check (CHKDSK): - Open **Command Prompt** as Administrator. - Type `chkdsk /f` and press Enter. It will check for file system errors and fix them. 4.Check ASUS App and BIOS Updates: Ensure your ASUS software is up-to-date. 5.Update your BIOS as well, as this can sometimes resolve hardware-related miscommunications. 6.Check SSD Connection: If the problem persists, make sure your SSD is securely connected to the motherboard. A loose connection can sometimes cause intermittent issues. 7.If the issue continues, it might be worth reaching out to ASUS support or checking if your SSD is still under warranty for a replacement. Lastly just ignore the message if it's working and your not experiencing any problems😅

@Ligh_TechАй бұрын
Check that the ram is seated correctly in the slot. If you have more than 2 slots put the ram in the other slot and see if it works, If that doesn't work the ram is either faulty or damaged return it and get a new one.

asus gaming laptop tuf gaming a15 fa506ncr I have this laptop model I have 16gb ram ddr5 5600mhz I want to upgrade it to 32gb but don't now what type of ram I need to buy And I don't know if I have m.2 slots in my laptop is any m.2 working on it?! Can you help me sir
@Ligh_Tech2 ай бұрын
To upgrade your ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NCR to 32GB of RAM, here's what you need to know: RAM Compatibility • Current RAM: You have DDR5 5600MHz, so you'll need to buy DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM with the same or a similar frequency (5600MHz) you can go with any brand you prefer. • Maximum RAM: The A15 typically supports up to 32GB of RAM, depending on the specific variant, which means upgrading to two 16GB sticks or one 32GB stick should be compatible. You can buy either: • Another 16GB DDR5 5600MHz stick to pair with your existing one, ensuring both have the same specs for best performance. M.2 Slots The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NCR usually comes with two M.2 slots: 1. One is typically populated by an NVMe SSD. 2. The second one is usually empty or could be used for additional storage. You can add a second M.2 NVMe SSD. Make sure it's an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD (which is the most common size and type). Let me know if you'd like more info or further assistance!

I've installed a nvme on the 2nd slot of a F15 TUF and i cant get it to recognize it. Sadly i dont have an enclosure. I tried BIOS but no luck... What should i try?
@Ligh_Tech2 ай бұрын
1. Check the Physical Connection: Re-seat the NVMe SSD: Ensure that the NVMe drive is properly and fully seated in the slot. Sometimes, even a slight misalignment can cause the system not to detect it. Check for dust or debris: Inspect the slot for any dust or debris that could interfere with the connection. 2. Check in Disk Management (Windows): If the drive is not recognized in the BIOS but still physically connected, Windows might recognize it as unallocated. Right-click the Start button and select Disk Management. If the SSD appears here but is unallocated, you can create a new volume: Right-click the unallocated space and choose New Simple Volume. Follow the prompts to partition and format the drive. 3. Swap the Slots: If you have two M.2 slots, try swapping the SSDs between the slots to rule out a slot-related issue. If your primary drive is also an NVMe SSD, try placing it in the second slot to see if it's recognized.
