And where is the advantage? Why not mine in parallel with two unmodified? Or if you want it to be more quiet, why not slow it down from 13.5TH/s to 10TH/s? From the calculations, with an original one you get $ 90.72 today, and with a modified one you get $ 133.97, excluding electricity. Why would I care about life time? These ASICs are obsolete anyway. Can I use the 6 boards version at maximum power 27TH/s, with additional cooling and double power supply? Does anyone know in this case what would be the consumption at the outlet? Thank you.

what voltaje do you use ? the only difference from a normal underclock is that u use a single computer for 2 ants basically ?? my opinion is that what you win by using just one computer you lose by using just one psu . ( the psu has the best randament when using only 50% ) , have u tried using the same configuration with 2 psu's ? haw much does one computer consume ? thank you very much !

Whoa. That's like a 60% increase in hashrate with the same wattage. Dude, that's awesome. So you're getting about 68 watts per TH. Normally an S9 is around 98 watts per TH. So I could do something similar with two S9j's and get closer to 23TH/s.

I run a S10 (s9 dual) as well. I added the extra 2 fan headers so i have 4 fans and run it off a 2800 watt server power supply so i get the full 30th + out of them. i also run another with 2 bitmain power supply's. Less configuration is really the only benefit.

I tried the pro firmware you linked , everything works except the manual config in the auto tune. When ever i set a manual settings instead of a pre determine profile it says wait 30 sec over and over and never starts the auto tune . How can i fix that ? Thank you

@@northerncryptonian4805 Nope, you just need the latest version of CGMiner for the platform that has multiple I/O enabled. Either the latest A9 firmware has it or the A9+ firmware has it. A9++ uses an even newer version of CGMiner but it's really sucky and unstable, even on the A9++.

depends on haw much you pay for el , if you have free el. like solar , wind , watermill , then the S9 has the best roi , sow if you have the free el in a remote lactation and you want to sell it but you dont have infrastructure to do it , mining is the only option you have

If you actually owned any of these 3 you would be 1000's into sunk cost before the first watt was made and 1000's more into replacement parts before they are paid off. Just because there are those out there who believe if you don't pay for it directly its free don't confuse that with efficient or cost effective to pursue. My 5k battery system would disagree with you so would my 20k windmill. Nuke is cheapest and most reliable if you want to support this industry push back the world is going to melt bs. But places like california can run 20 cents because they buy solar. So yes I know what you mean. And i do mean personally owned or grid bought its not the cheapest form of electric. Just the most marketed form. If I was to call a S9 a HOME HEATER. vs a plug in heater how about calculating the electric you don't use to heat but the money you make to heat? Got to be picky as the common redit is no don't buy them. When during the winter they can be free in just 3 months exchanging them for an electric heater somewhere.

I also got to say I upgrade my electric to more than 70% of standard to prevent 8 gauge wire from burning electricity. Every 12k watts on 6 gauge wire now reduced my energy bill 30% over 8 gauge. Lot more to cost than what you can google. As for this build runnign 2 1500 watt HP power supplies platniums at 70% and pulling 31th/sec just came buy to see if i could buy the grid vs making one. run the HP powersupply at 12.6 volts on breakout card chips will run cooler using less amps very very reliable. Adding a cable to a standard powersupply takes the math the other direction and limits the hashrate to do it.

You can get 25TH but not like this. To overclock you need to change the firmware for liquid cooling and custom power tuning. Tin the tops of the chips. remove all casing and fans. Install one piece giant heat sinks to both sides to increase chilling surface area. stack all six boards in a wafer and drop into Dielectric chilled fluid taking consideration for a heat convection current. Its silent, you can run it on HP power supplies and for about 3000w you can have 12 boards pushing close to 50TH at sub 45C. Now The benefit of that rig is its very stable, its silent and it costs about 400 bucks all in for 12 boards. The enemy is still power consumption but its a good way to get into the game to flip a little cash into larger amounts.
