guys, i m new in mining.... have a question if any could help...... recently my s9 miners look like have some problem probably virus. some of my machines are running but not working and there is another pool (4th pool) with different url and username while the rest are pool dead . i tried to use sd card to reset but some of them are not able to factory reset. any idea ?

Whats your profitability with the new settings? Does it increase it at all? I have a firmware from 2019, and its making barely 4 bucks a day

In oil they work at 17TH 24h hashrate. In February they have a full year since they work like that. What you get on one TH depends on the difficulty and price coin. Now the difficulty is high and the coin price is low for how much electricity it consumes to mine.

@@alinrehau you made a good point, however, I was having a number of HW errors with mine which made me think if the firmware upgrade could optimize it. Also I’m not accounting electric costs since they are free in my case

@@abbosmamanazarov3783 You could tune them manualy, each board with it's settings or leave it on auto but I see that on auto they don't reach 17TH.

Have you changed back the jumper to boot from internal memory? If it does not work, try writing the oem software via micro SD . You will have to download it from here. support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019493654-S9-series-S9-S9i-S9j-S9-Hydro-Control-Board-Program-Recovery

hi alinrehau i followed your step right up to hte point of download braiins os+ i extracted the zip file for some reason i cant get the extracted file to be sent to sd card using refus any ideas as to what im doing wrong or for why i cant see an image would the other fike work the same as i noticed that is an image file ??

@@alinrehau hi they look same but is hard to see what setting you have there on rufus but does look similar after i extract the zip im left with 2 folders from the extracted zip file cant figure it out and normally im good at tech and following videos from youtube

After the upgrade you can dip them in oil, it has a setting with no fan. It has manual settings for the voltage and frequency and you can tune it as you wish or leave the autotuning to do the job. I have 4 miners in oil all set at 9.2V and 740MHz and they run at 16Th ( 24h hash rate). I run them on radiators and I heat the house with them . The oil gets close to 60⁰C now when it's geting hot outside so I can't tune them more. I plan to move them to the swimming pool this days and then try to increase the speed.
